Hi everyone.
Really enjoying reading this thread and it has inspired me to keep a tighter reign on those pesky pennies.
I would love to join you but won't be able to take any prisoners until 31st when I get paid as really skint.
Been eating out of the freezer/cupboards all last week and the same this week so I guess that's saved some pennies as I could easily have gone shopping with the credit card!
Will definately be keeping my eyes to floor between now and the 31st incase I spot any 'escapees' and will report any captures. Also getting back into surveys and the money earnt will go into the pot.
Well done everyone

Darling OH cleaned out his van today and gave me a bag full of all of the Change he found in there. So I've now put 1573 on those beautiful pennies in our holiday fund, that's a couple of drinks!0

Found 15 penies over the course of the week but hadn't reported back:p
DD counted out my total...775 pennies so far this month. Hoping to add to it as I'm paying in £1 for each lb I lose and have lost 4 1/4 this month. only paid in £1 so far but things are getting a bit tight so close to payday.
Will be on a mission to scour the streets in the morning:)Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end

I had a whole 800 pennies make a break for freedom!!
I had to work late and so had to call the dog walker in to take pooch out. He helped 800 pennies escape from my prison in payment0 -
Hey all,
Can I join you? Got myself in some financial difficulties and am now trying to get myself back out of them!! Had loads of fab advice on the DFW board and someone has recommended your thread to me. So thought i'd come over have a look around and see what you're all about.
I did well today, went into town, saved myself 1700 pennies every month by changing what contact lenses I get, then spent 496 pennies, but got 100 pennies back from taking something back to exchange in primani that had since been reduced!! So really only spent 396 pennies, the least I have ever spent on a trip to the shops!!!
I love this idea of looking after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves, I remember my nan telling me that as a kid and i never understood what she meant, but I think I get it now!!

Hey Flis,
Nice to see you popped over!
Just think of all those pennies that went up in smoke before, now you can capture the little blighters and make them do time
This thread got me more excited about loose change than I have ever been!0
