Hmm think I may be taking this very literally as today, apart from the plus of an NSD, I have rescued another penny from the pavement and put it safely with its fellows in the small change jar. Having a few cashflow issues at present while OH, who is self employed, gets working again after Christmas which always seems to be a bit of a hiatus. Starting to look up again though so hopefully cash will soon be flowing in again rather than out

Hello everyone
I'm due to go out tonight with some colleageus and ex-colleague I haven't seen for a while - can't really afford it but have allowed myself to go but with very strict budget so went to the cash machine earlier at the Spar up the road and found 5p just sitting there!! Safely rounded up now of course. Also saved 100 pennies by using a coupon when buying washing liquitab things yesterday.

Had a great night out with the girls last night and even in my inebriated state walking home (saving at least 400 pennies on taxi fare) I spotted another lonesome penny so I promptly rehomed it!

Found 20p in a shopping centre today. It's now safely in the jar with my other loose change. I haven't counted the total yet. I can't decide whether to wait for the whole year or do a quarterly count.0
