I spent some money today in Morrisons but the receipt is in the kitchen and I can't be bothered to get up from under my slanket to go and get it. I'll update tomorrow.
Did the Halifax shuffle and updated the standing order of £150.
Also sent my update for 2013mfw, which is a grand total of £383 in Jan.
Off to have a quick look on the freebies board...Slow progress is better than no progress.

Hi!
The thigh pillow was reduced from £14 to £2 from Sainsburys on Boxing Day. It was basically a big chunk of thigh meat stuffed with sausage meat and tied up in a round shape. Just needed roasting in the tray it came in.Slow progress is better than no progress.

I caved in an bought a Cadburys Caramel bar to comfort eat while DH was at work and Mini-MSE was asleep. It was very nice.
I'm having a free 20 minute consultation on Friday to see if hypnotherapy and NLP will help me stop eating chocolate. I semi- joke about it but it is the main reason I'm 4 stone stone overweight. It is a compulsion to keep eating it, and I'd like to learn some tools to stop it. I get some health insurance through work which will hopefully pay for any further consultations. The practitioner has the same surname as my maiden name, so I think it's a sign.Slow progress is better than no progress.

I just assumed it was auto correct being stupid again :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I was very tempted by the free chocolates as per the freebies and grabbit board. I even got so far as filling in my details on the website, but I stopped myself just in time. It's a good deal though, for anyone who isn't an addict
Just applied for some free samples from the freebies board though, that will be a nice surprise when they come as I usually forget about them.
My friend was telling me the other day that she won £100 worth of Sainsburys vouchers by filling in one of those online satisfaction surveys that you sometimes get on the bottom of your receipt. So it's worth doing them! I had a Selfridges one the other day that was so long winded I will be surprised if anyone saw it through to the end.
NSD today, we made the 'Meatzza' from Nigelissima at lunchtime. It was very nice and there was enough for me to have some for my tea as well.
My money is dwindling and it will soon be time for me to dip into my maternity savings. Boo hoo! I'll try to last til March though, which will leave me £5k plus DH's earnings and a couple more months of SMP to last until I go back to work mid-August.
I've been doing a paediatric first aid course on a Tuesday which I've been really enjoying. It's only on for a couple more weeks but I'm thinking of starting a new course in something afterwards. Maybe cooking or cake decorating? It is nice to have a couple of hours away from being a Mum.Slow progress is better than no progress.

As much as you love them (kids) it's still nice & ( I think necessary) to be you - not mummy occasionallyMortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄0
