It's lovely, so peaceful and quiet! We went on a bit of a walk this morning which was interesting with the pushchair! Having Sunday lunch then heading back. We're at Aberllefenni in a lovely converted village hall.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Meal plan done for the week-
Mon: Nigella's Italian tray bake
Tues: Nigella's braised beef
Weds: DH at work, freezer meal for me
Thurs: Baked cod
Fri: Sausage, egg, chips, beans
Sat: Away for the weekend.
Sun: Will need something for tea.
I went to Aldi and got all of my food for the week, which came to £21.87, then popped to Mozzas for some root ginger- 34p, then we went to B&M for some meal worms and ended up spending another £5.51on food. So Monday's total is £27.72, but we shouldn't need to get much more stuff for the rest of the week.

Other MSE activities today- I did some market research this morning and earned £4 love to shop vouchers. I shall save them until we need something.
We have reached £100 of nectar points! Woo hoo!
Quidco have paid me £1, so I have transferred that and sig updated.
I ordered some L'Occitane stuff from the grabbit board, wish I hadn't now as I don't really know who to give it to. Not really a bargain then!
Have reached the first payout for consumer pulse.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Forgot to mention that my Pizza Ristorante refund came after I claimed their 'authentic pizzeria or your money back' guarantee. I normally love the fungi one but this time there was more garlic than mushrooms. They have sent me a cheque for £2, so it will be a race against time to see if I can pay it in before I lose it!Slow progress is better than no progress.

Bought a twix as I was so busy rushing about that I didn't have time to have lunch before my first aid course.
Adpoints very sparse again this week so I'm searching for random stuff to at least get some pointage.
I've started on Newgirly's diary, I'm on page 4 at the mo, plenty more to go!Slow progress is better than no progress.

Following the meal plan fine so far this week.
I cashed in my first Consumer Pulse voucher today and decided to go for a Virgin voucher. Mainly because I wasn't sure who would be next to go bust out of the list of stores! We might save them up and get a cool experience day or Michelin starred meal.
I joined the blinkbox as per Martin's email, hopefully I'll get the 1000 tesco points! It looks a pretty good service as well and I especially like the non-subscription element of it. We have ordered a cable from ebay that will let us connect the laptop to the TV and watch the films.Slow progress is better than no progress.

DH popped out to get some chicken feed and some beans for tomorrow's lunch as I somehow thought we had some already but didn't bother to check the cupboard
Not much happening today, the L'Occitane order arrived, and the gift sets look very nice, they will make good pressies. As a rule I'm a bit reluctant to give smellies as presents as they are not very personal. My friend is a teacher and I'm sure she has smellies coming out of her ears when the kids give her end of term presents. I ordered some reed diffuser liquid which looks like it will last ages, so will probably pay for itself pretty quick as I would have bought a couple more refills in the mean time.
Cleaned the bathroom (very satisfying, did the Viakal on the glass shower screen too), and saw my heavily pregnant friend who's due date is tomorrow but doesn't feel that anything is happening yet.
The market research lady came today and I have had a free dessert to try, don't think there is any payment for that. My DH qualified for another product which pays £5, so that's good :T
DH reported people panic buying in Morrisons today, I feel nice and smug that I've got my full freezer, a few weeks ago that would have been me
It looks like we won't be able to go to visit our friends this weekend as they live near Cardiff and it would be a flipping nightmare to be stranded with Mini-MSE in the car
Food spend so far this week: £32.56, with £37.44 to last 3 days, one of which is already meal planned. I hadn't planned anything for the weekend as we were away, but I'll have to think of something.
I'm just rambling now as DH is working until midnight so I've only had a 5 month old for company since 4pm and she's gone to bed now.Slow progress is better than no progress.
