Mon: £9.75
Tues: NSD
Weds: £5.45
Thurs: £4.60
Fri: £10.00
Sat: £17.30
Sun: NSD
So the total spend for this week is £47.10, an underspend of £22.90. Sig updated.
I survived Les Mis last night, it was excellent! Anne Hathaway's song was brilliant, I have to admit to more than one tear while she was singing that. She just came across so desperate and sad
I need to have a think about the meals for next week. We had fish pie for lunch today with a bread and butter pudding made from a chocolate and orange bread cake from Sainsburys.
We have finally managed to get out and about for a walk today, the snow disappeared miraculously overnight! Mini-MSE is now fast asleep/
The adpoints were quite plentiful today so I have managed to rack up 137 points this week.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Meal plan made. We are going to the butchers today to stock up, and will get double to freeze the equivalent meals so we don't have to have supermarket meat.
Mon: steak
Tues: liver
Weds: stew
Thurs: toad in the hole
Fri: gammon
Sat: fish cakes
Sun: salmon
You can tell DH helped pick the meals this week!
I'm going to scour the many charity shops today as I stupidly broke our casserole dish by cooking on the hob with it. I knew as I was doing it that it would probably break, but I carried on!
Have ordered the baby led weaning book from amazon so I can enter that onto consumer pulse. Actually, just remembered it was a used copy so won't be able to.Slow progress is better than no progress.

It looks like the Red Spotted Hanky offer isn't going to work as there were 30000 codes that have all been claimed. You can read all about it on the Grabbit board.
In other news, we went to the butchers and spent £52!! But for that we got some liver, gammon, steak, bacon, stewing steak, mince, chicken breasts and lamb. Then we went to Tesco to get the rest of the week's shopping, which came to £27.30. There was some reduced mince, smoked salmon and fish pie mix, which have all gone into the freezer. So unfortunately that means we have overspent this week! But, we have plenty in the freezer for coming weeks. I shall deduct it from the underspend total in my sig at the end of the week.

Just did the 50 free nectar points survey as per the freebies board. Sent my voucher to the printer for my free handcream that I can pick up tomorrow. I think I'll go for cherry blossom.:D
I'm keeping my head down as DH is in a foul mood as Wolves are on the telly and they are rubbish as usual. I don't know why he tortures himself like this.
We tried putting some banana in front of Mini-MSE tonight but she didn't seem impressed. Doesn't help that the tray is the same colour so the banana was well camouflaged. We'll keep trying with different things and remember the mantra that food should be fun until they are one.Slow progress is better than no progress.
