  • A couple of MSE activities for this evening- I have joined the Royal Mail surveys and been accepted, so we'll see how that goes! I like the idea of being paid in stamps, I could transfer the cost of a stamp to my ops each time I use one.

I ordered a gro blackout blind from ebay for £14.99. This is £25 full price, and I can't imagine we'll get much use out of it, so I'm happy with a second hand one.

I should be able to do my wages account tidy up tomorrow as my mobile bill will have been paid.

And still I dream he'll come to me, that we will live the years together, but there are dreams that cannot be, and there are storms we cannot weather..

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Oops. Thought I'd quote my favourite but read the lyrics and had a blub fest :o.

    He is young
    He's afraid
    Let him rest
    Heaven blessed.
    Bring him home
    Bring him home
    Bring him home.

Oh my friends, my friends forgive me
That I live and you are gone.
    There's a grief that can't be spoken.
There's a pain goes on and on.

Did a transfer of £50.22 from my wages account, so that has helped boost the overpayments a bit!

Another NSD today, I'm losing my nerve a bit, really want to go and buy some potatoes or something...

I couldn't cope with the pressure, so I bought some potatoes and a pack of rolos!

    MSE activities today:

renewed car insurance, £72 cheaper than if I'd just accepted the automatic renewal with the same company! I'm going to transfer the £72. I went through quidco but there were so many t&cs that I'm sure I won't qualify for the cashback, but it is £50 if by some miracle it apppears.

I bought a nice jumper and trousers from Boots for my friend's little boy who is one this week. They should have been £20 exactly, but the buy one, get one half price kicked in on top of the sale price so ended up being £8.49. I now look very generous!

Went to a new baby group today that was lovely. I think I'm going to make some lovely new friends, and so will Mini-MSE.

My echeque for the phone was due to clear paypal today but nothing yet...

    No bloomin adpoints again!
