  • It was the Thai laksa with chicken. Very nice and tasty but I can't concentrate when the chicken is sizzling away and I'm supposed to be grating butternut squash and boiling stock at the same time! Can't kitchen multi task :(

    Oh, I can't multi-task full stop. That's why I'm no longer a chef :o

It sounds yummy though! Enjoy :)

Hey MWC! We have 6 chickens- 2 white suffolks, 2 cream legbars and 2 copper black so we have a lovely coloured range of eggs!
Never mind the colour, what shape eggs do they lay :D?

  • Here is an eye-watering egg for one unfortunate chicken! It's not a trick of the camera, the egg really was that big!

No spend day today! Yay! Just got to pop to Aldi or somewhere in the morning for some veg and maybe some stuff ready for next week's meals.

My £5 from Halifax has arrived so I've done the Halifax shuffle. Also £4.60 from Quidco had made an early appearance so that has moved too and sig updated.

I took back one of the Soap and Glory gift sets that DH got from the Boots sale today, and exchanged it for some bibs and swimming nappies in the baby event, so bargains!
