Orange - can't log into online account

  • Just called them again and they have, again, confirmed that there is a significant problem with the 'Your Account' system and the 'majority' of customers will be unable to log in. They are sending me a paper copy of my last bill and have credited me £10 for my trouble.
  • This is the second month iv not been able to access my online account. Will be making a complaint later today.

    Good luck with that:D

They are failing in many areas at the moment.

I am trying to get out of my contract with them and I know many others are doing the same.

They have been having problems with their servers for almost two months now, this was as a result of a attack by hackers.

    Their customer service is appalling
  • Signed up to Orange in November and been unable to access their on line account, received notification of my first bill on my phone which told me to view it on line! No chance, site still down and to date still not set up my account.

Customer services friendly but gave no actual help in getting me on line. Wrote several e-mails to Orange but to date had NO replies from any of them. Rang 439 and asked them what my bill was and received information from them.

As Orange are not providing the service I expected I am seriously thinking of ending the contract.

Funny this but yesterday I could get into my account yet couldn't see only my data usage since my last bill. Spoke to Customer Services and she told me she would reset/delete (I'm unsure as to what exactly was said) my account and to wait 30 minutes before trying to log on again.

I tried logging in this morning and now can't access the account at all. Like others I'm just getting a loop saying 'glitch' or 'technical problem'. Spoke to 439 and an otherwise very helpful guy could not tell me when the problems would be resolved! He could access my account though. He told me that the lady from yesterday left no record on the system as to what action she was going to take.

And this after increasing our monthly price plans!!!
  • I'm not trying to end it just because I can't get on line. That's just one of the many reasons why I want to cancel it, their 3G service is a joke.

It's not my browser that's at fault, it's orange.

You log on and check every few days what your teenager has been up to! That's on odd way to phrase it- not checking usage but checking what they have been up to.

    Gosh!!!

  • In a position to leave, I have given my PAC code to another provider who I am already contracted with (for simply keeping the number as it is easier to remember) and this lack of access to my account was the deciding factor. I have spoken to the technical team in the last few days and they told me they couldn't resolve it. The retentions person today told me that they have no idea when it will be fixed and it affects a vast amount of their customers it wasn't just me. For those who aren't in a position to leave or who wish to stay - I hope they resolve it soon or at least provide you with a paper bill free of charge.

I have just joined orange a week ago. I have been trying to register for the online account, and every time it says it's going to text me a code, but this takes about 3 hours to come through. By the time it comes through, the page has timed out and even if I leave it up on the screen, as soon as I enter all the details, it goes back to the first page to enter my phone for the security code text... I've been going in circles for the past 24 hours!
Do you think it might be linked to this?!
    Thanks,
