Yummy Greenbee, can I move in (well for the veggie food anyways,
)
I've put my 50p into an online savings account and have bought lots of YS goodies in MrT's on the way back alone from my parents as DD is staying there for a holiday til school starts up.....shame I forgot what I already had in the fridge, so now have tons of tomatoes and potatoes, but you just can't beat a bargain sometimes! (Ok, so the 2 Christmassy tubes of smarties were perhaps not so much of a bargain)
Blooming cold here but I've had the heating on too much recently so am going to wrap up a bit warmer and maybe do a bit more pre-new year decluttering!0 -
Due to massive amounts of confusion on the job front, in relation to start dates etc., I've decided that I need organisation at home so I have 6 hours (2 on Friday and 4 on Monday) for sorting things.
The aim is on Friday: phone solicitor, write letter to evil bed company's bank and stock-take cupboards. On Monday: tax return, stock-take fridge/freezer, meal plan and new SOA. Wish me luck!
(I've updated on the other side too for anyone over there)

As per my new promise Gemmzie - I logged onto the Matrix first this morning. Chin up, shoulders back and pop the kettle on.
Off out to see Grandma today - well the boys are. I am on the hunt for some new to me jeans and to swap a jersey that I received for Christmas (wrong size and wrong colour but from a decent chain so should be OK)
Big frog's today -
nice frog - girlie phone call with a friend who claims my mad-cap schemes calm her down.
OK Frog - final clear through of kitchen

Although I did think it was Friday today meaning I'd be at the hospital but of course its Thursday :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
I'm back at work
and will probably spend the morning dealing with my email backlog rather than doing the research that I want to... although if my laptop continues to be this slow I may not get anything done!

Today's plans: laundry, and tlc for the house.
Tonight a friend has invited me for a meal :jand we're setting goals and affirmations for 2012, :Tand putting together fresh vision boards - playing about with scissors and glue, I love it!Need mags for inspiration, so will pop into the local CS who usually have some at 10p or so.
I've already sorted out my birthday this year - got up early this morning to bid in the Travelodge sale - missed the £12 deals, but got a twin room for £15, :jfar enough from home to be different, not so far to be a slog, just the one night.
It's booked for Easter Sunday, so I'll have the Monday public holiday off too. Not breaking the bank, and time to save a wee kitty - there's a historic building nearby, and an organic farm cafe, and a wildlife sanctuary, so another £25 each should do it. And something to look forward to built in to the diary.
Last year I booked 4 Travelodge deals at £9 each, but this time the price is higher and it's only possible to book up to the end of April. The personal budget's tighter this year, and I will be moving house (I will ! I will!) so quite happy with one jaunt to look forward to! :beer:If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
