Margins done in daybook, so its all ready for tomorrow! Sorting out another notebook to do the freezer inventory, I found my workings for 2009 objectives which I'll be very useful for my writing this year (I also have 2010 already). Lots more paper has gone for recycling, and the shredder is in position under the desk...0

Hello all
Got lots done this morning and eventually my house is back to how it was before xmas I will now sleep tonight :rotfl: Just the bedding and curtains that are washing and drying to iron and Im done for today. Wont get much done tomorrow I have to go into Manchester to the hospital not fun with 2 kids in tow but needs to be done :cool:0 -
I also need to start making better use of my millions of notebooks. I want to go back to having a daybook for work where I prepare for my calls or make notes relevant to my research, and another for research (where I can transfer notes from calls across to the relevant topic). It should save me having lots of bits of paper floating around, but is something I haven't done for a long time, so will be a difficult habit to build.Margins done in daybook, so its all ready for tomorrow! I did two boiling's of the stock and mixed them together so got well flavoured rich stock for soups and gravies. Back to the 30 Soups for September challenge methinks
MGhave just checked the freezer and I Do have 1pt of stock, but also celeriac soup, veg and lentil soup and pea soup. There is a LOT of stuff that needs eating, so I will post a plan shortly... I won't need to cook (except to use up fresh stuff ) for a while! I must also invite a few people over to help out with the eating...

Afternoon all
DS1 has just called to ask if i'll make him some 'breakfast' he's clearly making the most of sleeping in with being off work!
I have done a freezer inventory this morning then meal planned for a week around that and done my @sda online order for friday delivery.
Received a booze delivery from t3scos last night from my sister - 2 bottles of vodka, 3 cases of lager and a big bag of sweets for this kids :T
Back on to slimming world yesterday after a weekend off although even then I didnt have any sweets or chocolates and didnt snack between my meals so I was really pleased. Also treated myself to some scales with christmas money and although I dont know what my starting weigh was I had a rough idea and was pleasantly suprised when I got weighed. Still have to lose the weight of a regular sized person to be anywhere near 'normal' weight tho :rotfl:. I've joined Mr Bloaters 'lose 2 stone before 23rd April' challenge as that is the eve of my 40th birthday - baby chunks!

I think it's probably procrastination
There is more important stuff to do, but if things are messy and disorganised I find it difficult to focus. And I want to manage my time better this year!
I am with you on that one greenbee - lots of getting organised here too, so will have to start the actual work very soon!
Had to laugh at dd this morning, went to 'spend' M&S vouchers and dd's next vouchers and she spent ages saying "I'm not spending THAT much, can we come back when they've made them even cheaper!" and she was positively nasty about M&S lack of children's stuff and rubbish reductions. An old lady in the queue behind us said dd definitely had her head screwed on properly:rotfl:Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Definitely blowing a hoolie out there, was out to run errands and at one point was struggling to walk forward into the wind  - and the rain is icy icy cold, and I am sooooo glad to be back home, heated throw is switched on, it is so nice to be inside, out of the wind and warm.
The postie must have been totally distracted by the conditions, as he'd delivered four pieces of mail meant for a house on the next road - so went and popped them through their letter box before I got my waterproofs off.
I've made a huge pot of soup too - no turkey here in this singleton household, so used a smoked ham hock and it is braw. There's rather a lot of it and no room in the freezer. I'll probably live on it till I go back to work! :rotfl:
I'm enjoying the rest from work, and it's nice having time and a wee bit more energy for getting organised. A friend has given me a calendar with a wipeable writing surface on which she wrote a great affirmation about selling my house, and finding my perfect house to move to. So, a great focus for the new year!
MG, what's the state of play with the DIY and the plasterboarding? If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

I hate meal planning  I'm having really problems getting the protein levels high enough... Good thing I'm planning on continuing with my revolting shakes
Today - porridge/banana/juice; veg & lentil soup/clementine; turkey stir fry and noodles
Thurs - mushroom & pepper omelette/juice; celeriac soup/clementine; salmon with lentils/leeks/cabbage
Fri - porridge/banana/juice; baked potato/cottage cheese/aduki bean salad; chicken with fennel/leeks/sprouts/clementine
Sat - spinach & mushroom omelette/juice; celeriac soup/clementine; sausage casserole/leeks/sprouts
Sun - porridge/banana/juice; lentil/tofu/olive salad/clementine; puff pastry goat's cheese tart & salad
Mon - pepper & spinach omelette/juice; leek & potato soup/apple; sausage casserole/cauli cheese/sprouts
Tue - porridge/apple/juice; veg & lentil soup/clementine; veal/cauli cheese/sprouts
Wed - veg omelette/juice; onion soup/clementine; mackerel pate & toast
Thurs - porridge/apple/juice; lentil/tofu/olive salad/clementine; macaroni cheese & broccoli
Fri - veg omelette/juice; mackerel pate/toast/salad; lamb/gratin dauphinoise/veg/strawberry cloud cake
Sat - porridge/apple/juice; veg & soup mix soup/clementine; beef & barley stew/veg
Sun - veg omelette/juice; goats cheese tart/salad/fruit; veg lasagne
... And now I've run out of ideas and there is STILL loads of stuff left on the freezer list! I need to buy salad, veg and eggs regularly, but not much else, so supermarkets can be avoided in favour of the farm shop!0
