A somewhat belated Happy Christmas to everyone. OH gone for a lie down after food - not even had pudding yet, what a lightweight
.
Going to slob out for the rest of the evening. Very windy here and nothing to do with the sprouts

Similar here lol, high winds ( I ate sprouts but this is not connected lol).
Fife is notoriously bad for winds, gales and whatever else. At least there is no snow like last year, or freezing temperatures YET.
What else can I say except enjoy what is left of the festivities:)

Yes, so blustery here I couldn't get out of the car at the loch and had to content myself counting the swans, 42 in immediate sight, beautiful. There was a (human) family leaning into the wind as if in a wind tunnel, with their arms out, not going anywhere! If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

To fill you all Mr F managed to find a laptop for DS1 for £99 (so went halves with Mum) I go him some animation software and a camera along with a bucket of plasticine and some googly eyes.
One VERY VERY shocked boy opened his present I can tell you:D He has already made his first "short" of a pink poodle called "Mary":rotfl:
DS2 went to bed holding a pile of Pokemon / Dr Who cards which was the first present he opened and his "talisman" of the day - he thinks he is a big boy now that he has these you see?
Hope you all had a great day

When is Mary's debut going to be on general release MG? We'd love to see it!
We had a wonderful day - my nephew behaved beautifully in church - totally transfixed by the readings, and prostrating himself on the floor of the chancel to prayonly a couple of people looked disapproving of a toddler wandering round the church (his daddy was a bit stressed too
) the rest thought it was very entertaining! He also walked about quarter of a mile up hill all by himself and didn't want any help, loved his presents (best ones were a 20 year old mobile phone from grandpa and a fantastic wooden shape sorting box from his great aunt in France - he now does putting away as well as making mess!)
I'm now watching a beautiful winter sunrise into a cloudless sky, and just trying to summon up the energy to go down and do toddler breakfast to give my brother a break!
Hope you all had a fabulous time!0 -

Looks as if we will have another fine day - although the clouds are moving a bit!
I could not believe how mild it was as I walked home last night - what a difference from last year.0 -
Morning all
Feeling very plan like making. DS1 (17) choose his presents for me himself this year and kindly gave me a dodo calendar , a dodo household planner and a dodo garden planner! I may use the garden one, which is mainly blank pages as my matrix book. This is the year to plan a new job or business and I'm feeling very excited but don't have a clue of the direction yet.
I thought of joining the make £2012 in 2012 year but that would just be another thread to try to keep up with so I'm going to combine it with my Matrix plan. We loose our family allowance in April so my initial plan for the is year is to generate the loss of that money to balance the books.
Have a great Boxing Day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
