Gally - what do Bitsy's dreams mean.

Don't know :rotfl:. I learnt to analyse dreams in a great book which someone borrowed and didn't give back and I can't remember what it was. Basically though it said the same things have very different meanings, hence why you need to explain to an alien. E.g. I love flying, I associate it with holidays etc, a colleague is physically sick so the same dream would have very different meanings.

Dreaming of the end of world means something big though! Could be good or bad - I found THIS website which looks quite good as it talks about different interpretations. Bitsy - have a look :)

Smiling at the dreams business since I have mega technicolour dreams, complete with sounds and smells! I often play cricket for the England womens team, the ball goes in a huge muddy pool and I have to get it while everyone else bogs off to have tea...I also regularly have twin boys who are gay and end up helping me shop (always wake up happy with a great wardrobe!)...was negotiating peace talks between African leaders the other night...and have had to repaint the Eiffel tower a nice buttery yellow....my interpretation is generally that I am as nutty as a fruitcake:p

Today is declutter - clean - bake - make and decorate day.
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000

  • Haha, I regularly dream (and day-dream) that I break my legs - usually my right leg....

I've never painted the Eiffel Tower yellow in a dream though :) x

I think I might paint my bathroom and reseal around the bath today. What joys :) xx

Not around yesterday, I had a sofa day plus I was getting my loo fixed supposedly. It needed grouting in as it is only held onto the floor by one screw and the waste pipe keeps coming loose so bodgit came round. Bodgit masticked the loo - fitted a new pipe and masticked that too telling me that it would be ok to use in 2hrs after the mastic set - I hovered above the loo to attend to my business and no sooner as I had added to the water levels with some of my own, water promptly shot out of the back of the loo:mad: It seems that he did not fit the rubber thing that stops the pipe rattling about so now it has to be redone tomorrow.

Not getting much sleep due to noisy neighbours - the lads decided at 1am on Tuesday night that they would have a shouting match and drag furniture across the floor - hence one very tired Horace yesterday.

Had a call from jobcentre on Tuesday night asking me about the Round Table job they sent me for - I explained it as a no go after they had received 240 applications. They said that I was doing everything right. Checked my email this morning re the job I went for on Monday - there was me being interviewed at 3.30 and they sent their response on 20th at 9.49am to say I had been unsuccessful - their loss not mine, it is rather worrying that they have such a high turnover of staff and their trip advisor reports are not very good either. So it is back to the job hunt.

Yesterday, I had a sooper dooper surprise - a large box was delivered in the afternoon (most unexpected) and inside was a basket containing: 1 cinnamon scented candle, a panettone christmas pud, a box of very alcoholic truffles, a small bottle of red wine, a box of 9 mini mincepies with brandy (from Lidl and they are very boozy indeed and have a lovely buttery pastry), 1 packet of scottish shortbread fingers, 1 bag of vegetable crisps - all from my best mate Sal:D

Today, I went to collect my prescription, nipped to Aldi and spent the last £1.25 in my purse on a present for Dad. Then it was off to the chemist (need to go back tomorrow as meds not in) and I nipped into Tatco clutching my luncheon vouchers - came out with milk, eggs, spam, sugar and a bag of chopped veg (swede, carrot, spud) that I found on the whoopsie shelf - the veg has immediately gone into the slow cooker for soup.

Dreams are wierd - I have quite vivid dreams - right down to smells, tastes, sounds and conversations, what is even more wierd is that 6-12 months after I have had the dream the actual event takes place:eek:
