Had a funny dream last night - about a theatre I don't recognise and have never worked in - and a man I have never met (I am fairly certain) but had incredibly strong feelings that I knew very well.

I would write this off usually - but I have dreamed about this place and this man before and it has left me feeling rather unsettled for some reason (no logical reason you understand).

    Its a puzzle:)

    MG

Ok MG, Here's the drill. I am an alien (as has oft been said ;)), and no nothing about life on earth, so answer these questions for me please:
    • what is a theatre?
    • what do people do there?
    • why?
    • what do YOU do there?
    • why?
    • describe this man - looks
    • describe this man - clothes
    • describe this man - actions
    • describe this man - personality
If you have time actually write down the answers (:doh:doh, you'd be doing that to reply, I mean write out longhand in detail). Now read it back - can you see what it was about? Or who it was about? The people bit in particular I find always works for me.

Oh, and your story about the 1st 10 elements of the periodic table - please remind me, what's the beginning for hydrogen (I remembered the element but not the story so that's progress :rotfl:)? I remember the rest :)

    Tenmah,

If she's had it for less than 14 days, try phoning their customer helpline (0844 573 6011). The card which comes with the plant promises "100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee". They'll either replace or refund if there is any damage to the plant, or "it doesn't meet your expectations for any reason". (To be fair, they didn't quibble about this when I phoned this morning, so I'm guessing they may had a fair number of complaints.)

I got to speak to the MD's PA this afternoon. She seemed sympathetic & was going to talk to him in the morning. Fingers crossed!

Thanks greyfox. Ironically this morning, one of the flowers has opened up beautifully although the other one is still looking pretty poor, so I will probably leave it as it is. The offer was on MSE so I wonder if they were inundated and couldn't cope with it all.

    • what is a theatre?

A magical place where people gather together to be entertained by live performance
    • what do people do there?
Create performance that inspire and challenge and touch peoples emotions
    • why?
Because it is an incredible way of connecting people by exploring common themes and storytelling is the oldest form of communication / education that we as a race possess
    • what do YOU do there?
Nothing - I was walking along the riverfront and got drawn to the front doors
    • why?
I am supposed to reconnect with someone - this man I recognise, but don't
    • describe this man - looks
Taller that I am , sandy blonde hair, green eyes, a twinkle and lovely smille
    • describe this man - clothes
Casually dressed, chinos and cotton shirt, not suit and tie. But smart, well kept not scruffy
    • describe this man - actions
Incredibly welcoming, familiar and connected to me, comfortable inhis surroundings, very much at home
    • describe this man - personality
Very bright, very straightforward, loving, gentle but knows his own mind, open, curious
If you have time actually write down the answers (:doh:doh, you'd be doing that to reply, I mean write out longhand in detail). Now read it back - can you see what it was about? Or who it was about? The people bit in particular I find always works for me.

..................... and for some reason, someone shouted the name "Mark" in my head as I was washing up.

The theatre is beside a restaurant on a river front. The front is dark green and gold and I KNOW its a studio theatre, not an "in the round" or standard proscenium.

..........and he is going to be taking up a job in Scotland, something quite prestigious and fun. He is not and actor, too neat to be a techie;) not in a suit so not the theatre manager so thinking, Producer, Director something in the creative side.

I can't shake the "I should know him" feeling

Hope you don't mind me posting my recurring dream and any input. I've had 'twin' dreams about 3 times now. First time twin girls about 6 months old callled Holly and Heather. Second time twin boys new born 1 white and 1 black. Third time having a scan and finding out it was 2. I'm not preggers, find having 4 quite enough. Any thoughts?

What is a river? What is a restaurant/that restaurant? Do green & gold mean anything to you? Could 'he' be 'you'?

Generally twins mean a split of some kind - either a choice you made/need to make or you feel what people see isn't real? Try the alien trick - what are twins/babies? what are girls? boys? Holly & Heather - what are they, if you had to describe a girl called Holly & girl called Heather what would they be like etc? Scan is interesting - seeing inside yourself maybe?
