Right then - all ladies who are in the thinking, planning, scheming, dreaming and fantasising stage - there's a pretty nifty little challenge over on the blog right now that y'all might find useful.
And Horace - she's right, very little he can do but bluster .............. and when you get back to work you are hardly going to refer such an unprofessional business are you??????
Remember your networking rule - bad news travels wider, faster and stronger than good.
I had a moment today when I could have recommended one of my "sharks" and my response was to decline to comment - very telling to the potential client - who has since opted for another company (6 figure deal BTW)

I have a copy of that which I used to use as my delegates came into the room before a seminar ............... imagine if you will, 20 Chartered Accountants (Clones in matching suits and ties) and the cheery strain of "The wonderful thing about Tiggers" :rotfl:

Got visions of lots of white coats all bopping along:T
Who says we shouldn't listen to cheery stuff like this anyways? - much better for us than some of the anti-respect everything rap crap that has been made in the last few years .................. oops have I turned into my Gran???
DS1 has got his first day of "leadership training" today - I hope he gets as much from this as he got Mindstore - keep your fingers crossed for him this morning.
Got one of my local ladies coming around for a bit of "unstick me" coaching today - think the "perfect day" exercise might just be right for her at the point where she is - still looking at what is really important to her and what she thinks should be important to her.
I'm sure once she uncovers that about herself she will be off and flying.
Off to feed some boys

Morning Matrix.
Bleurgh.
Yup, that about covers it.
I think I have come down with the lurgy. I am prescribing myself a day on the sofa (with some walks out with the doggy) with brain numbing telly and NO chores. Perhaps a little bit of reading and some knitting, but to be honest, those take too much brain power, so maybe not!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Ugh hugs Crickett, feel like I have some germs on the brew too!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Speaking of current music, I really like One Direction's "Makes You Beautiful", it's such a sweet little love song. It's nice to hear something that I don't cringe when my little youth club kids are singing it!
Echinecea & hugs for those with lurgyNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Morning peeps from a windswept and rather soggy Brum. I nearly got blown away when I went to the post box this morning.
Thanks for the advice on eejit and the courts - I didnt know they couldnt take anything from my benefits. Let him do his worst because I am taking legal advice of my own (thanks FSB - their membership fee is money well spent).
I must get sharper pencils or ask a committee member to sharpen them for me next month. The committee has expanded from 3 main stalwarts (other folks would drift in and out) to 9 of which 3 are elected posts. Boy do they yak but we got through a lot and are planning a lot for the future - where they all talked over each other I use stock things like - heated debate, lengthy discussion etc. I now have 6 pages of minutes to type up now. Not sure that the Chairman is too keen on me because I asked one guy to do something and to just send it to the Chairman for printing, the Chair wanted to make amendments and recommendations so I said not as the thing needed to be done prior to the next meeting on 15 May and we are short of time).
I am feeling a little more positive - probably excited about the way the Club is moving forward and life in general (bullies aside). The song I always sing which makes me feel happy is by Long John Baldry (he used to babysit me sometimes - yes I have lead an interesting life) ..Hi Ho Silver Lining (this was also the anthem for 18+).
Tonight I am having lamb steaks for dinner (lamb from mum).0 -
Can anyone explain to me why "The Housekeeper" can get so wet at work today that she may as well have been working outside? To enlighten you, I went up and down the garden to the temporary laundry, put balloons and banners up to welcome home their middle daughter from 4 months travelling, collected flowers for said daughters room (all because Mum is away and couldn't do it) and then walked home:eek:had to strip off completely.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942
