Good Morning Matrix!
Had a good nights sleep but still feel a bit icky this morning. Still, have plenty of things to do today to keep my mind of it. First and foremost, I am making myself a crocheted lanyard on which to keep my house keys around my neck when walking the Dotster in the park! Then later this morning it is off to the Vet for Dotty's second vaccinations and putting her microchip in, and then if it isn't pouring with rain by then, I might head out into the garden for some gentle weeding and mowing the lawn. After that, I have dinner to prepare, some carpet washing and hoovering to do upstairs, and I need to straighten out the spare room come craft room, because it looks like some kind of tornado has hit it. (I suspect her name is Dotty and she was looking to "play" with the kittens when I went out to Choir practice last night!!
)
So, lots to do. I also want to sit down and do some big dreaming for myself... Now that I have got the horrible day job out of the way, it is the ideal time for dreaming the big dreams and really getting a handle on them, and getting things under way!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Right... Dotty taken to the vet, and she was a total star! She tried to smother the vet with kisses and got some treats for her trouble!
Also completed the crocheted lanyard for my keys, and they are on my neck as we speak, so I don't lose them again!! Me, paranoid? No!!
Next job is to go and mow my lawn. I really don't want to do it... but if i don't it will never get done, so I need to suck it up and get out there before it starts to rain...off we go."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Feel free to nip down and mow my lawn as well Crickett! I have no idea when I'm going to have time to do it...
Stopped off on the way back from massage (sports massage... it hurts... not nice relaxing gentle massage, just in case anyone thought I was being a bit indulgent) and picked up some more A3 layout paper so I can start mind mapping my work again. I'm hoping that will shift the writers' block

As much as I would love to help my dear, I really can't. I hate doing it. I HAVE done it, but any lawn proud gardener would FAINT dead away at the state of it. Quite funny though, Dotty does not like the lawn mower and barked non stop while I did the small patch of grass. Note to self, do not mow the lawn early in the morning or late at night or else the neighbours might complain! :rotfl:
Going to have a quiet afternoon. Making beef stroganoff tonight for dinner, but I won't start it until hubby gets home from work. Totally unknown quantity at the moment as he is working silly hours.
Right, time to dream some dreams i think. Later folks!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
MG: You are sending me messages loud and clear:eek:This last few days I have been mulling over my bright future and what I would like to dare to dream. Yesterday, I had reached the point of thinking of planning backwards and what do you write on your blog?
OK time to stop procrastinating and start getting things onto paper:rotfl:
Isn't it funny that we have reached the stage where someone says something and others go - Oh Boy!! that's what I need.
Serendipidy doo-dah LOL

Hello ladies - sorry not logged in before now but haven't been home long (only long enough to look at a house on the internet and print some papers for tonight's committee meeting).
I had another vile email from the bully (I think I might block his emails so they go straight to junk so I don't have to read them). Moaning that if I had wanted to pay the debt I would have made more of an effort, he will let the courts take the money from my benefits. I shall enjoy going to court and proving to them that I have been speaking to CCCS and have been paying from my benefits now. I am going to have a chat with the guys down the road too as they have just opened up a van hire business using, you've guessed it, the exact same logo as me only their logo came from somewhere else. If I can get them to note down that it is from a standard graphics package with no design in it at all then I can bring that up and maybe counter sue for breach of contract or deception passing off work that somone else did as his own.
I took some stuff to the auction house - some of my stuff they didnt want so now I have to carboot it but they did want the lovely piece of oriental silk that I inherited, they also wanted a collection of glassware (I have included the Murano glass bowl that mum was given as a wedding present which she absolutely hated, I don't like it either). I also left a light fitting, 2 pairs of wall sconces for candles and 1 pair of electric wall sconces minus shades (never had the shades). These are being sold by mum so I had to leave her details.
I spent some time with mum as she needed to speak to someone relatively sensible, we went to Aldi and she bought me a loaf of bread and refused to take any money for it. She bought 2 clematis for her sister which cost 79p each, plus a load of cat food (mum hasnt got a cat). Actually the cat was paying mum a visit today - he belongs to a neighbour who is too lazy to brush him so his hair gets matted..poor thing, he is such a gentle cat too and doesnt scratch or get his claws out unlike mum's old cat who was a fiend. We also went to the local garden centre as mum had some vouchers for alpine plants so instead of paying £3.49 each the voucher allowed people to pay £1 - as it was a per person deal, mum gave me a voucher plus a £ coin and we went through the tills separately, actually we had money back because we were only charged 99p.
Had some lunch at mum's too and spent a little time with dad who is looking a lot better today - seriously I thought he was going to die on Sunday:(
Yes, you did read it right when I mentioned house earlier - mum told me about a house that I should look at on the way home and ring her about it. It is a 3 bed 1930's semi with offroad parking and a garage - it needs some refurbishment and has the most awful bathroom in a shade of orange (everything is orange). This house is a fair bit dearer than the other one but mum still has a gut feeling that the other one will fall through - after much argy bargy and an increased offer the sold sign has now been reinstated but mum cannot get rid of the instinct.
I have plans for the future but so far haven't dared to dream too much, I have realised that I need some money behind me before launching into another venture which is why a job would come in handy.
I need to start writing my blog again ..some good business ones including one about mindmapping (with reciprocals of course). I also asked at the church hall about groups that meet there so I may be joining the historial society and maybe the WI when I am a bit more affluent.0 -

Clearly bully boy has not been reading the court info very well.
If he gets a CCJ against you they cannot deduct from your benefits :rotfl:
The only thing they can deduct from is your wages but only then if you tell them where you are working.
I agree with the others who posted yesterday to say carry on paying him what you can - the chances are he won't take you to court anyway.
If he does give us a shout if you need help with the forms!!0 -
Ladies, I have found the perfect pick-me-up after a slog of a day - singing along to a Best of Disney CD. I defy anyone not to smile at the very least - cheesy, schmaltzy, corny - heck yes, but join in and its an all embracing hug.....
It's a Small World after All...and with the Circle of Life, I think we're covered!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0
