I know, it's incredible isn't it... still, I'll just keep on doing both jobs (badly) until someone comes and rescues me..! Lovely! Oh, and then they'll either move me, regrade me or make me redundant on the 31st July... Nice!0

Glad that you're feeling so much better Marru. This ideal job sounds good - I really hope it's 'meant to be' for you.
Crickett - that's terrible! Poor Dotty and poor old HB too. It is lovely to hear you so happy otherwise.
Hugs to Aesop and Igamogam.
TMIF - Really feeling for you at the moment in your work. I hope the job search is going well. Hopefully you can get someone in asap.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Crickett - that's awful what happened to Dotty. If dh can remember any details (dog size/colour/type/where and when/ owner)then report it to council dog wardens, you can just explain what happened and give any details anonymously. We have had issues with loose dogs and the wardens were really helpful and your situation definitely needs reporting.
TMIF - seriously weird situation for you to be in! Is there a way you can note down all the additional things that you are having to do as it might give you a bit more levergae when they are looking at re-organisation. Hang on in there.
Worked well here yesterday and started going through list of things to be done - sorted driving licence, moved CC balance to 0%, cleared garden of guff, schoolworky stuff, made pizzas, ordered stuff for work, organised big bag of papers for work, etc etc. Today is more of the same plus a seriously needed haircut and colour so I don't look like my own gran!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Hello ladies - later start today as yesterday was chocca full of Matrix visits, some here and some out an about - yes FW and I even made it out for a beer last night with a Matrix chum WITHOUT any children in to :j:j:j
Teatime tonight will see us wandering northwards again - so please tell me that there is no snow forecast this time
Can someone help - looking for a copy of "Take a Break" dated week of the 10th - Cupar had "last weeks" and Manchester shops "next weeks" - you will know it as it has our patchwork sofas. The kids would love to see their photos.
Off to take the kids for a run around the park (tire them out before we get on the train)

MG, I have it, I can take a picture of the page and upload for you. Where do you want me to upload it to? MinF3? Not sure if I can do that, or FB? or email you? Let me know.0 -
It's free listing on ebay this weekend, and I have so much to sell, I started yesterday listing on netmums and FB hoping to get rid of it that way.
I have 2 MS jobs this afternoon in the same place, so saving on fares.
But I really really need another job, my work place is getting insufferable! Someone has been tampering with our files, putting things in different places, and removing things and putting them back weeks later, after we have searched high and low, and we are getting the blame for it.! though why we would want to do that I do not understand! It makes it hard work for us not having things where they should be!
Universe, please, I know you sent me a couple of job opportunities a few months ago, but due to troubles at home I didn't apply. I need now to start applying. Before DS starts full time school, something that would work around his school hours and decent money too please.0 -
Aesop, can i suggest phrasing the Universe request differently? Instead of asking the universe for it... THANK the Universe for it.
So, "Thank you Universe for the fabulous job opportunity you have given me. It is such a blessing to be able to work around my son's school hours, and the work is rewarding both financially and in terms of my own enjoyment." Or something like that? It is the "Attitude of Gratitude" which I find useful!Hope it works for you!
I have done the weeks shopping, and brought it in under the budget I had set myself, which is excellent!! I have also solved the myriad problems my father in law was having with his computer - also good - and tried to calm my Mother in Law's worries and concerns about our financial situation and our future. Bless her, she is worrying that we are on the breadline or something, and we really aren't!! Then came home, unpacked and put away all the shopping, put the dog car seat cover on my car with "help" from Dotty, and am now catching up on what is going on here!
Next job is lunch, and then I am going to clean the house and get on top of some of the jobs which have been lying around. I also want to do a bit of baking this afternoon, and maybe get the dinner cooked early, so I can spend some quality time with hubby and the animals!Phew... I am tired just thinking about all of that!!
Have a great afternoon everyone. See you on Sunday/Monday!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

thanks hun:A I think I am just feeling very desperate today and not thinking straight.
I wish I could walk in tuesday and hand my notice in, but I have nothing to live off if I do that, so need to keep going until I find something else.0 -
TMIF - if I lived in Plymouth I would be beating down your door. Jobs are hard to come by and I must admit that I am getting bored with the whole process of looking for work, applying and then getting nowhere:mad: I do not have enough money to resurrect my business either so I have to keep plugging away.
I am feeling very drained and skint. I wish I had still got the £6K cushion that I once had:( Had to smile when I received a request from Bzzagent about living on £1 a day - easy peasy lemon squeezy when I think I am living on less than that now. I didn't bother.
Crickett - sorry to hear about Dotty, keep an eye on that wound because dog bites are nasty and get infected quite quickly.
Marru - good luck - I hope you find something soon.0 -

Exactly - that's what i don't get..
The only thing I can think is that it's part time and short term, and people don't want to disrupt their routine for 3 months...
...and I understand that too really, you have to be out of work for 12 weeks before you can claim certain things, and people might consider it a hassle too far...
I dunno (and that's not a criticism at all, so don't slate me) x0
