If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

I am just coming to the end of two days hard work. I am so pleased to say I am nearly finished all my chapter outlines of the whole PhD.

All will be sent off by the end of tomorrow by hook or by crook. Only the conclusion to go - about 600 words. Of course the hardest bit comes last.

    Aaaaw Crickett - lovely

Have spent most of the afternoon with a sleepy god daughter on my shoulder drooling - can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon tbh.

Back to reality and decluttering away the kitchen/dining room rubbish as well as planning the last few days of work - some holidays take a long time coming and this one has taken forever!

  • Isn't it strange? For weeks/months/years I have had real trouble getting motivated to get, and keep, the house clean. I have tried everything I can think of for routines and for getting the house spot on every week.

And yet, a few hours after getting an adopted and rescued doggy... i am planning how to make sure that the house is spotless by the end of the week so that I have lots of time to spend with the kittens and Dotty.

I have these grand plans for taking her out for country walks on Saturdays and Sundays. She is going to get two long walks every day as well. :) Poor pup. She is going to want to turn in her paws! :D Well, I need to get fit too... so it works out! :D

What a lovely doggie, happy days! Maybe I should get a pet, that might inspire me to tidy the house ;)
