Hair coloured and cut, so I now look presentable. Bought a top as I am short for this trip (ironing isn't back yet from last week... I really do need a couple more anyway) which rang up as £7.49 instead of the £20 I was prepared to pay for it :D I should have got more... Have tried on work clothes and thanks to the pneumonia I am back into all my small stuff, so I need to start exercising when I get back and keep it that way!

Totally shattered after going to London and back, which is very frustrating. Trying to decide whether to pack tonight or in the morning. Maybe I should get everything worked out tonight, and pack it in the morning... The less time it spends in the suitcase, even folded in tissue paper, the better.

Plan for work clothes is: one dress (wear twice), one skirt, two tops, one jacket, one cardigan, four pairs of tights, two pairs of shoes. Non work will be black jeans, blue jeans, trainers... Just need to work out tops. And something to travel in. I don't seem to get any better at this!

Food eaten. I think all the veggies I haven't managed to eat or convert to soup will survive till Friday. However, the open bottle of wine won't, so I'd better find something to watch on iplayer and work my way through it!

Spent rest of time in garden - dont seem to have done much - weeded and mulched about 10 feet of a 30 foot border - thought I was motoring quicker than that.

I have weeded and mulched about 2 feet in total but I did have two children 'helping' me! Have gained me a half cleared kitchen and garage as well so not too bad but have also gained a stonking headache as a bonus.:(

Have mostly sorted my clothes, although am still indecisive on the non-work stuff (and also which suitcase to take... I have zillions, but I'm always missing the size I need!). Packing will have to wait till the morning as the bedrooms still smells strongly of paint, so I don't want to leave stuff in there overnight.

Heating controller has been moved forward an hour. Will do the kitchen clock when I make my hot water bottle. I just hope all my gadgets update automatically or I may be rushing in the morning!
  • Happy Sunday everyone.

Well it's great to see an empty linen cupboard, and empty bookshelves, so today's target is the cupboard under the stairs and also packing away glasses. That leaves next weekend for the glory-hole of my office.

I have a free cuppa voucher for the local garden centre cafe so that is my carrot, and I intend to be there at 3.00pm having done the above!
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Wow, just read post 14. How amazing is that? :A

I am trying to get hold of someone who has vanished, but all the methods I know of trying to contact them has failed, so think they don't want to be in touch. Oh well. I tried.
