I do 20 mins per 500g and then a further 20 mins for the pot
If that makes sense

Why do we not make pancakes more often? They are cheap, easy to make and so versatile for using up leftovers to make a couple of tablespoons of something into a Frugal Feast of a dinner.
Kids have voted for Crespolini for dinner - so have made a batch of thin French Crepes - but they only take minutes to do and are so luxurious.
Note to self : MG make pancakes part of the menu plan from here on in LOL

Know what you mean MG, I am going to try your syrup recipe. Cheery Daff used to be the queen of the pancake - she has a machine and everything!0 -
I love pancakes but only sweet ones. Pity they cost £1.50 a pack for mine
Still something to look forward to tonight after Zumba

Oh beautiful looking Scotch pancakes MG!!! MmmmmMmmmm....
Well the sofa bed arrived and it is an absolute beauty. I thought it was cream but it's a mushroomy colour. Yay! :j It is huge and so heavy - we nearly didn't get it into the house because I could barely lift the thing. It's beached in the hall for the moment, I am not quite sure how we will get it upstairs!
It is a bit grubby and needs a good shampoo but it's otherwise in great condition. It looks very very good quality and is hardly worn at all. Two of the bed slats are cracked but I can get these online for £12. Hooray for Eb*y!! :j :j :j
Now do I go to an interesting lecture at a Uni across town? Or stay in and look at the sofa bed???:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Afternoon peeps.
I saw superscrimpers last night - I love doing up old furniture. Quite a few years' ago I went to a scout jumble sale and picked up two wooden chairs for 50p - they were covered in vile mustard and grot coloured velour. I took them home and stripped off the stinky velour and associated padding (I am sure someone had weed on them) I removed the webbing as well because it was stinky thus I was left with two chairs with no seats. Near where I lived at the time was an upholstery shop but I didnt want to pay their prices to went in and bought some webbing and asked if they could show me how to use it which they did. I did the webbing myself, got a load of wadding (didnt use foam although maybe I should) and then got myself an offcut of cream material which was £7 - cost of the chairs altogether after re-upholstering them and varnishing them came to £10 - I still have the chairs. I was trying to attempt to make my home more comfortable but it got poo pooed by the soon to be ex OH.
Pancakes made - I walked to Morrisons which has to be a good mile from me and got eggs, milk, flour, cake, reduced bread, cold cuts of turkey. Had a free nibble of some pastrami because I wondered what it was and decided that I didnt like the texture of it...still it was free and it filled a gap.:D Must admit that I did look at pillows in Morrisons too and shall file away the knowledge for another day.
Not much doing here - having a CBA day. Realised where I have boobed with the divorce papers too and things are being rectified.
Am off out tonight - was hoping to see a solicitor friend for some free advice but I think she is away with her new beau (I just want to run something past her - the last time I saw her she charged me £180 - so much for free half hour and then wanted £3K to sort the divorce out:eek:).0 -
Crespolini look like a very good idea!
Question.
Just been over on the 2 Stone/2 Grand/4 Months board. It seems that, for some posters, me included, the money making is going quite well, the [STRIKE]weight loss[/STRIKE] adopting sustainable, healthier habits not so well.
I'm thinking we might be sending mixed messages in terms of acquiring money and losing weight and acquiring money and weight instead:D All input gratefully received from The Matrix when you have opportunity.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
