Pah!!! BTW - went to have a cup of tea and the veneer came off again - really fed up with it now and they can't do anything until Thursday so I have got a mouth of sharp bits from this mornings adhesive.

I've nagged about the tree work, and apparently it will be done next week (they're coming round this week to look at it, so I will explain about preferring them to do it slowly and squash fewer plants...)
Have thanked work for my flowers (I was a bit put out when emails started going round about flowers for other team members on sick leave, and I'd been into hospital three times... I only mentioned it to a couple of people, and obviously one of them mentioned that it looked a bit odd...)
Well done Lara - I have a last review to respond to and really CBA. Might go out for a coffee first...
I have updated older roles on linkedin (they need more work, but I've started) and got recommendations for a couple of them. I need to do some work on how to describe my current role. And then transfer across to my CV. Before I have to leave for the workshop tomorrow... Can't see much work getting done
ETA - MG, I get the feeling that maybe veneers aren't a good long-term investment...0 -

Completely surreal - but funny in a way. Mind you someone did mention a few pages back that their DS had wrecked their tape measure - so maybe he is reading but is just very shy:D and into his boys toys
So hello Mr Lurker - stay and play a while, it will be an education I promise:rotfl:

Printer cartridge replaced... CV updated, linkedin updated (lots). CV sent to ipad which hopefully I'll remember to take with me tomorrow... CV printed... just need to transfer the photos as well, then work out where I'm going and how to get there (and how long it will take). Also need to work out what to wear.
My CV will need more work, but that can wait until I'm actually looking for a job. At least it is more up to date than it was.
Now I need to get some work done. It's pretty quiet at the moment, so I really need to take advantage of it and get ahead.0 -
Fantasia, lovely to see you sweetie.... :T Have missed you!If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

WHAT a slog this month has been! Now I have catching up to do but some time off too.
Hopeful - good luck with your new business - sounds like you have a good strategy and April is really close.
Round of applause to MG for doing all that :T
I'd like to join the sock knitting club!
Sounds like you've been working hard? Did you sense a little impatience from me?! Patience is another skill I am having to learn this yearMemory_Girl wrote: »No better motivation hopeful

It's v cold where I am too, but no frozen bits or otherwise falling from the skyAm huddled on sofa with the little one's Thomas the Tank blanket! That's my treat for polishing the eldest's shoes which were hidden under inches of mud after just one day of wear since the last polish! Is it just boys that attract a lot of mud???
Hope you can get your tooth sorted once and for all on Thursday, MG.One step at a time0 -
oh help - half a tooth has just fallen out....
Just as I thought things were calming down...
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Did you and MG ever share the same dentist Moam?0
