PM MrF Triker - he should be online later. He has all the list n stuff.

Kids have pancakes, I have coffee. DS2 is watching cartoons and DS1 is reading "Lord of the Flies" ........... and I am creating a "needed" list for the two letting rooms.

Only thing is I am ticking off as I go - the only things I appear to be short of are new white sheets for the beds, 2 doubles and 2 singles should do the trick.

DS2's bedroom should be ready for papering and painting by next week so I can actually see his room being clear soon.

So rough plan is - move him into his new room, start the spring cleaning and redecorating (one room at a time) ready for our lodgers.

When the inside rooms are sorted time to start building the raised beds for the next part of the garden to fall under cultivation.

So going to have a chat with my Mum about having the boys regularly on a Friday night to leave me Friday night and Saturday till mid-afternoon for DIY n stuff. DS2 always wants to help you see LOL

Off to pop a loaf in the BM for french rolls at lunchtime and then to print off some weekly planners as i have decided to "Work full-time" on the #MFinThree project and need to organise everything else around my forty hours.

Sounds like a plan MG, dedicating separate hours to "work" will definitely move things on quickly!

We had good news yesterday than OH's basic hours are increasing so we might actually be able to start paying things off and moving forward rather than scrapping to the pay the bills. Will do a new SOA on the other side today :D

Oh that's good news! I still smile to myself at how excited I get at clearing some of my debt...even when it's just £1.38 like it was today :o I've managed to clear 1 small debt since Christmas, but as I work down the list, they will take increasingly longer to clear, but am staying positive!

Ok, I have to ask...what's the criteria for being part of the secure 'Matrix' forum. I do find this all very intriguing ;)

    Quick report in

Breakfast bars made - a chewy flapjacky thing sweetened with a little honey and blitzed bananas. Brilliant for DS1 for elevenses as they are full of nuts and seeds.

Chocolate smartie cookies - kind of like Millies but smaller made out of the smarties from the bottom of the treat box (Xmas selection box stash)

Last of the Christmas mincemeat mixed with a chopped apple and sandwiched between two layers of short pastry - kind of a "tray-bakey" thingie.

So snacks and packed lunch treats sorted for the boys for this week all from my store cupboard stash.

Smells lovely in here though - and lunch is my slow-cooker scotch broth form my 30 Soups in September challenge.

Time to pull out the ironing

Good luck Claire! Hope it doesn't take too long :)

Congrats Gemmzie, that's brilliant news - takes the pressure off a bit.

Your day out sounded so nice Dora :)

Well I mis-read the sofa bed size, d'oh and it's too big for my room. So have had to let it go. On the lookout for others now I have the bug!

Slow old day today but have managed to find the kitchen worktops and floor which had got hidden during ofsted! Dh has allegedly done a shop but it appears he has only bought stuff that is in the freezer and nothing for packed lunches so going to get that sorted this afternoon, then a family movie with popcorn I think.

Can't tell you how relaxing this post-inspection feeling is - I know I still have loads of work as usual but the 'threat' is no longer hanging over everything I do.

All cupboards and freezers well searched and listed and reckon we have enough in to last us the week+ especially with a bit of creative cooking. Already made choc crispie cakes and toffee cookies from stuff lying around in cupboards and lasagne and HM garlic bread for tea. Off to write plans for the week which so far include coffee out with friend and birthday tea at Nans :j

Wondering whether to get the shred -how is it going MG?
