Feels pretty cool - also gets you thinking that if it is possible to do it once - well then its possible to do it another 125 times.

Could be a long haul - so I had better make it fun

On the plus point - I put some curtains on ebay, 2 days left and 34 watchers!! I could really do with a bidding war right now.

I also found a used (but good condition) version of the sofa bed I wanted from Ikea. It's £300 instead of £580 new (although the covers I *really* want are £180 - eeeep! But I could save for those later). Thinking of going for it.

MG - I can't find the sofa and want to be re-inspired as I have virtually no sewing skills, definitely no money and have 2 sofas to cover when we move house :)

Congrats MG, it's so good seeing a plan coming together and the year of the dragon is meant to bring financial prosperity.

I've had my hair fixed, took two hours but I'm very happy now.

I'm angry at my credit card - I've switched it to another on at 0% now but I've just realised last month they took £24.xx min payment and the interest was £22.xx!! I thought they'd made rules to stop that!

Aesop - the saying is Foxtrot Oscar which is a polite way of saying go forth and multiply but using fewer words:rotfl: My first frog is eaten - the CV is done and I have emailed it across to the agency together with her notes and some additions from me. I have said that the min I will accept is £16K (basically because there is one job with a top salary of £16K and I don't mind doing it). I know what the salaries are like at the moment and although I would love to earn £25K and above, I have to be realistic to market forces in my locality and industry at the moment.

    Well done MG.

Last night I ate the sirloin steak which wasa present from mum and served it with lettuce (I hate the sight of the stuff now), tomato and onion (also present from mum) and a jacket spud (spud cost me 19p). The sirloin steak was 100% british and had been aged for 21 days according to the packet and it came from Aldi. I wonder if they still have them because I might get another one when I am feeling flush.:D

Next frog is the divorce forms including the financials - let the court decide what I should have, I was trying to be fair but I don't have the strength to argue at the moment but I know I am not giving in and will be holding out for what I want! The whining about me clearing him out of £15K won't wash because he has 3 motorbikes that are completely built, a very nice bike trailer, one kit car (worth about £3K) and various motorbikes in bits all sitting in 3 rented garages not being driven or worked on - so skint my @rse. He also has a car and a mortgage free house (erm hovel) plus his late mother's cottage but I am not going after that.

    It's one of these:

I quite fancy an "Ikea hack" version that has had new cute feet and some buttons added:

Shame mine will be the sofa bed version with the ugly black underneath bit. But we really need it as a spare bed. They are very expensive though - even £300 second hand is a bit of a stretch, had budgeted for a £250 one only (including van hire to collect it).

Horace - I am *so pleased* you're going to let the courts decide the settlement :D
