Had a wee peep - very impressed!
Well done MG!If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Evening all, feeling awful again, only eaten a bit of tea, wondering whether it's too early for bed...No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Anytime after 6pm is fine Gemmzie. Hope you feel better soon...
Feeling grubby as I didn't shower this morning thinking I'd do it after I finished cleaning. I haven't finished the cleaning yet.
Busy day tomorrow... Not sure when I'll get any work donebut have managed to get three walks booked in, and I need to finish the cleaning and shopping ready for the weekend!

Morning ladies - up with the larks because now that I have figured out how to post stuff correctly (well in the correct place) I am filled with enthusiasm again.
Still got sore sinuses - so no Shred, but I will do the Callanetics programme and have a decent walk in the fresh air/ light too. I figure as long as I do something ever day I will move towards my goal.
As for the MFin3 - same principle, as long as do something everyday I am marching on there. Already got the 1% under control by "Paying myself First" every week to the sum of £24 automatically.
2nd, third and forth percentages are from renting rooms from Easter holiday to students.
5th from my "Book of the Month" mind maps for an Accountancy network.
6th ????????????????? wonder if I can sell the last 100 Mind Mapping books in 2012????
Time to get the creativity flowing.

WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Sorry to shout, but ...................... I have just realised that today I have paid off the first £1k of my mortgage - by that I mean that even when this months interest payment goes out I will still be less than £125K.
Just goes to show that lots of little habits all piled together make a difference - had a conversation with my ex-Banker friend who is off to sign up on the blog cos she is earning 3 times what I am and hasn't paid off a penny yet. So she is heading for DFW status then got her eyes on the mortgage.
It's going to be a prosperous year for us all - I can feel it.

Morning peeps - I overslept this morning but I am now up and about.
I have made a start on my CV which I will email to the agency today, stupidly I told them that I would accept £14K (again selling myself short...I must remember not to do that:mad:) and I have done my sums and think that the minimum I should accept is £18K a year. I need to be able to save a bit to have some holidays and build up my savings.
I am going to ask the jobcentre if they will print off a letter saying that I am in receipt of JSA and the amount I get so that I can include that with the court forms which I have made a start on. I will ensure there is none of this "I am not being catty but you need to get yourself a job before you can have any financial settlement from me" rubbish. He can Foxtrot Oscar Off. It is signing day today and I have an appointment with my personal advisor. From now on I am not looking for jobs that will pay me £14K because I am worth more than that. I know they bleat on about working tax credits but I need to be able to support myself without relying on benefits. Although mum is supportive I occasionally get snidey comments about the fact that I am on benefits as though there is a huge stigma attached to them - I don't like being on benefits as I would rather be independent and I see them as a temporary leg up rather than a way of life. I think she remembers the time when dad had his accident and lost his business - mum did farm work etc just to keep a roof over our head and she didnt claim benefits although I did manage to get free school dinners - she was too proud to sign on whilst dad was in hospital.0 -

love this! Must remember this for future usage.
The problem with people saying there is working tax credits... is... yes there is... but for how long...they keep moving the goal posts and they have got themselves in a right mess with it, etc.
So you are right to get a job that pays you your worth and will support you in that you can have savings.
I worked out for me I need a job that pays 25K a year, so I can afford to pay bills, have DS in full time nursery and have a little money for treats, new clothes, etc.
I told my workplace that and they couldn't find the money to make it work, so I am still only working part time. There is no point me working full time for them, all my money would pay for the nursery and nothing else!0
