Well done Claire :T
Having now 24 watchers, 2 bids and 6 hours left on one of my items. Oh and 3 questions one of them bin offer, which I politely refused. Half way second sock. Oh and DW and WM have been on. I am exceeding myself
That's good going with ebay. I haven't had much luck on there recently. I always hope there'll be a last minute bidding war, but sadly that's not been the caseOne step at a time0 -
Back at day 1 of Shred again after stopping cos of the cold - its like I had never started LOL.
But I have done my Callanetics every day (less jumping around to aggravate the sinuses) so I am seeing a change in shape although the scales are not moving much. But I figure if I keep eating well and keep moving it will all come right.
We are just in from a walk (grumpy toddler so needed to get him out and about) so its the ususal Sunday night of baths, nails, tea, story and getting organised.

MG - please can you help me out here?
What size needles do you use to knit the boys' socks with the Lidl sock wool?
(got two packs in the bluey mix this arvo :j)
And do you use dpn's or circular needles? If dpn's, 4 needles or 5?
I think I am about to develop a sock knitting fetish
Ta!If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

I use circulars - magic loop method and they are size 3 or 3.5 mm for the sock wool.
Socks are fab - cos they are really quick to do - and I can do them in front of the telly.

Spa day today was lovely
and even more lovely because use of the spa and lunch plus a massage came to less than they normally charge for the massage alone... And less than half the price the package normally costs. And I can breathe well enough to swim properly
Hockney exhibition yesterday was lovely too, as was seeing friends.
However, I am now shattered, so it's pizza and an early night for me so I can cope with my 8am walk, work and getting my CV and myself ready for a workshop I'm going to on Tuesday night.
Next weekend I'll be going up to London to see friends sometime on Sunday as I have a cake decorating class on Monday (part of my retraining grant from my last redundancy package). It's been great getting back to doing things and seeing people, but it's very tiring!0 -
Missed out on tuna and loo paper at approved food due to gaffing about getting my order in.
I have sushi ginger left over from Saturday and am not likely to have sushi at home again soon... Any ideas what I can do with it? I also have charbroiled courgettes in oil that I need to find a use for
Early night tonight, and goals for this week are to get the trees pruned, get my bedroom tidy, get the study tidy and book the carpenter to do the study floorboards.... I wonder how much I'll achieve!0 -
Well done Claire!
Great news on ebay Marru. I sold some curtains today for £35 :j Going into the holiday fund I think. Got enough carp for a car boot sale too - although we don't have a car to use. Hmm, wonder how that works...
Dora, your snacks sound lovely - mmm toffee cookies.
Greenbee - cake decorating sounds like fun. Have you done it before? One of my friends from Uni is using it as her number 1 procrastination method :rotfl:
Deadline today tomorrow, just got my referencing and conclusion to do. Hoping to get it done early and have some time to do my reading for Capital reading group.
Happy Sunday everyone!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Uurrghhh!!!
I woke up in a grumpy mood - no reason I can think of, just did:o
Time to get busy to work off the feeling - no time to be faffing today.
So pot of tea and a list I think
