*Turns heating back down to frugal setting*
Viewer liked the house but hers is not on the market yet, so her interest may not lead anywhere very quickly if at all. Never mind, Sunday's viewer may be in a better position, and in the meantime I'll enjoy the unaccustomed glow of being a perfect housewife for as long as it lasts!
MG glad your smile is back to normal and you can enjoy the effects of a de-clutter.
Meeting friend off a train this evening and the garage blitz happens tomorrow. Shed will be emptied (into the space created in the garage) and then offered on Freegle for firewood. Another wee bit of progress. :j:jIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Sounds like you are doing really well GQ. It is such a good idea to take the time to declutter before you move. I thought I had done a lot but by the time we moved we seemed to have so much stuff, and we had only lived there for four years. I seemed to have as much stuff as Id di when I moved from the previous property and I had lived there for 26 years and had given away a lot of items on freecycle because we were downsizing.
I have picked my daughter up from the hospital after her first week, and you can certainly tell she is home. The cleaners had been whilst I was picking her up so for about two minutes the place looked lovely and now her luggage is all over the place as well as her opened mail. There is no point putting eveything away as she will only need to pack it all again on Sunday morning, but it means my lovely tidy bungalow is no more *sigh*OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I am sticking to Zumba for time being. I've done at least half an hour of it 4 times so far this week. This in itself is a miracle. I just love itI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Isn't being up enough. Oh, and drinking tea

I am back home. Boy was I tired last night!! Some food, hot bath and solid 12 hours sleep have revived me to feel more like myself today. Need to dash now as I need to go and vote (and also help with the cafe in the voting place).
I have computer problems. PC is dead, this old laptop is so slow it makes me potty and I need to return my loan laptop from work on Monday. But I will try to pop in here every now and again. So I should have time to sort through my boxes then  (famous last words.... :rotfl:)"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
