  • Power day sounds good to me - am helping organise an oldies tea party tomorrow so am wall to wall in boxes of cakes, loves of bread, fillings etc. For speed we have bought a lot of the cakes but am going to make mini scones shortly, and hopefully butterfly buns.

Then it back to checking lists and adding those important things its easy to forget like binbags, decent sharp knives, aprons and music to work to whilst we assemble it all lunchtime tomorrow. All are excited about it - I think its going to great fun, and may turn into an annual event.

I also have laundry, expenses and HSA forms to do, so quick coffee, find master list and get on. I'd like an evening with a DVD and a glass of something so big incentive to go do...

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.
  • The last time I tidied up (last night) I dropped a box on my head... I am not doing any this weekend ;) x

    Ooooh, The Shred is good.

She's a little bit mean, but you have to keep going as you feel like you don't want to let her down! (or is that just me!) Oh, and definitely start at level 1!! lol

Afternoon all - it is signing on day today - the first time since mid December.

I have managed to find my password to my website and have spent the morning clearing out spam but now I need to do various updates and there are 13 plugins that need updating too - so maybe a kindly begging email to friend will get him to fix it for me (after all he has variious members of staff able to update it and it will be good practice for them). I had a look at my stats and for a website that has been stagnant with not much (zero) work done by me in recent months I still managed to get 874 unique visitors last month and 47 so far this morning:D I need to start blogging and plan to blog about the new High Speed rail network planned for Birmingham as well as Social Media Bootcamps (the bootcamp one may net me some commission as I will include a linky).

My mince hadn't thawed last night so used Ping to heat up some stew from the freezer but it was a bit dry (too long in Ping) so I added some peas & some frozen mash from the freezer and made up some bisto - jolly nice it was too.

I have run out of fresh milk but don't feel so inclined to use the powdered stuff so I have started drinking Ovaltine. So far this week I haven't spent a bean on anything.

Hope everybody has a good day. Sorry about your DS FW it wasn't meant to be there will be other jobs I am sure. We have to keep plugging away.

:rotfl::rotfl: After all the clearing out to find my card - they didn't even need to see it. Still at least the clearing out is done.

............... and I now have my even smile back:j

Now you have all got me very afraid about what I am letting myself into later???

My Shred DVD arrived a couple of days ago; I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. Maybe Monday!!!
  • TADA. *sits down with a cuppa*

House looks brill - if I wasn't selling it I'd love to buy it! :rotfl::rotfl:

The tulips are looking just gorgeous and I also have a bowl of hyacynths not yet blooming but looking sturdily green. Heating is on, some windows slightly open for fresh air. Helped by a beautiful frosty but clear blue sky day here.

Viewer is due in 30 mins. Just about to sprinkle charm vibes everywhere.

Please send some more over, everyone! :T:T
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

  • Vibes on the way for GQ, with a few extra just for the tulips
