Stuck for inspiration at work. And arguing with ex-OH via IM isn't helping :( I think we might be arguing about who feels worse. It all seems such as terrible waste.

On the plus side, I have eaten - leek, pepper and spinach omelette, and been for a 2 mile walk.

Crickett - you can always go freelance with your accounting and stay at home so you get the best of both worlds.

Afternoon peeps. It seems that my website is broken and I cannot update my blog and it keeps telling me that I need to contact the system administrator to update wordpress - I already owe the guy for hosting and although he is not charging me at the moment I don't feel able to approach him. If only I hadn't slipped into a deep depression and walked away from it:( He knows how skint I am and I did give him the option to take the sites down and he has refused - I only owe him for one site hosting as he has provided one site hosting for free. What to do??

In other news I have a way of making some money - it won't be a lot but it is a way (a legitimate way) and I have seen a job that I would really like to have despite having no qualifications in the subject at all. It is odd because the universe has been sending me dreams about working with plants and on checking local big garden centre website (a place that folks go on coach trips to visit) they are looking for a person to work in their houseplant department who likes dealing with people, advising them on houseplants etc. I love plants - I just don't have the space for many and certainly don't have space to grow a lot but I have always loved them. I spent some time back in 1978 working in a local garden centre - I needed the money back then to fund a trip to Israel. They can only say no.

Just taken a call from Health Trainers - I was referred to them by Healthy Minds and they will help with my mood, exercise and food so that I don't resort to eating biscuits and will start to eat healthily once more. My appointment is next Thursday afternoon and will take place at my local GP surgery which I will walk to.
  • Oh Greenbee...

    Don't put yourself throught it.

You need a little time to readjust to your situation.

Mine text me constantly for several weeks, each time it made me cry, and in the end I had to tell him to stop. I felt much better.

Maybe you just have to cut contact for a while....

Take care of yourself ok xx

Step away from the IM greenbee - rational head on for a while, without all the confused messages - after all if it was that imprtant then it should be done face to face shouldn't it?

Anybody else seen In Treatment? I've only seen the first 2 episodes.

Crickett, Horace had exactly the same thought as me, freelance accountant or maybe teach accountancy to small businesses?

And I don't have the AF mix either 'cos we have quite a lot of individual pulses that need to be used; that's despite the epic lentil dahl, constructed on Tuesday, that made 4 meals and could have stretched to 6 with no effort at all:D

Horace, your blog could potentially make money for you no? Then I would contact him explain the situation and say you will pay him when money is coming in, ie when you get the Garden Centre job. :)
  • Hugs to greenbee and Horace and anyone else in the doldrums.

There is a poem by Mary Oliver which I love, here it is

Good news and good timing: :p today I took another load of assorted cardboard and household debris to the dump, then on the way home got two text messages re appointments to view the house, one tomorrow afternoon and one on Sunday. :)

So I treated the house to two bunches of lovely bright tulips which will add a splash of colour to the living room. :D

The benefit of having so extensively decluttered the house last year, is that it takes so little time to get it up to showhome standard now. I'll just need to keep my reading glasses on to inspect the kitchen and bathroom, and rectify any bits I've missed in my normal glass-less swish past. :o
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Just wanted to share this with you.

I use my bread machine most days for various things and have always used the Dove Farm yeast (Orange pack) around £1 for 125g.

My Mr Ts have stopped selling it and the only place I could find it was Wa*trose which is a long way to go just for yeast. Looked on line and found it at loads of places but all charging delivery of around £3

I stumbled across a forum and found out that this type of yeast is sold under the name of Fermipan and comes in 500g packs and is much cheaper.

LSS I found a site that sells it and who have just opened a branch near me (less than a mile away) so I went off there to buy a pack and it cost me - DRUM ROLL !!!!!! £1.79 for 500g !! Have used it today (thought I should check it before posting) and its fab. It is vacume (s?) packed

I have filled my little 100g tin up (keeps in fridge) and the rest is in the freezer.

Thought it may be useful and wanted to share! Am I allowed to put a link to the site on? They only have about 5 depots around south but I could always post some if anyone wanted any.
