Happy Friday everyone!
Right, some advice from all you lovely peeps needed
I recently (for the last month or so) dug out my Redken All Soft hair set that has been languishing in my cupboard. I have been trying other things on my hair in the past few months, mostly Aveda which I thought I loved but perhaps not so much, and a few high street - Elvive etc.
I've been a bit fed up with my hair this year as it seems to have gone very dull and generally not inspiring. Since using Redken again - not every wash - perhaps every other and with the masque once a week - it has massively perked up - it once again has a shine to it and feels like it's getting back to the condition it used to be in. Even the ends look in better condition (and I've not had it cut yet although it needs it).
So, I am thinking that if Redken seems to agree with my hair in this way, it's worth an investment, right? I've been savvy and scoured the internet for the cheapest deal - and have found a couple of people on ebay who look above board and have excellent feedback who sell the 1 litre bottles, shampoo and conditioner for around £45 combined. If I were to buy the standard sizes (300ml shampoo & 250ml conditioner) then the equivalent amount would be around £70.
Sooooo, it's a decent product that delivers results, and I've found it at a good price. Have I convinced you all to give me permission to buy it yet? :rotfl:All good so far...

Would you still let me buy it? :rotfl:
I'm torn. I have enough hair products to last me about 4 years, technically. But I like that the Redken stuff works for me... If I were to get some I would alternate it with the other stuff so everything would eventually be used up....
Ho hum. I think I know that I need to use up some of the other stuff first before I consider purchasing more.. but it's so hard when it's made such a difference to my hair!!!
What would you guys do??
xxxx
Buy it!
Conditioner makes an excellent double as shaving cream for your legs so doing that will shift a few bottles of it. Could also use a silly amount and leave it on as a hair mask too to strech the redken one out more. Half of the hair masks are the same stuff as your conditioner anyway, we just never leave them on long enough to see a real difference.
Use the shampoos as shower gel, if it cleans your hair it can clean the rest of you too!0 -

OUT: Boots No7 Wipes (bought with a voucher, so they were only £2)
IN: Tesco's Skin Essentials/Skin Wisdom wipes, 2 for 65p
Like the Boots ones but can only justify them when the vouchers are on, at £7 they are a rip-off.0 -

Hi everyone again. I am now taking the time to read back through the thread as I had to dash off the other day when I last posted.
This has reminded me that I went into our local TK Maxx last week as a colleague had told me they were selling OPI. You all know me and my addiction! Went in and thankfully didn't like any of the colours. They were selling mostly the colours from the Nice Stems Spring Summer collection but the only one they didn't have was the one that I had liked/wanted so that was a good result as they were selling the bottles in packs of 3 for £12.00 so I would have spent £12.00 that I didn't want to and would have ended up with 2 x extra bottles I didn't want either.
However, I then saw a very luscious Osprey polished croc leather handbag reduced from £225.00 to £50.00. MrM has kindly bought it for me for Xmas so not so sure that the passing up of the OPI is really that good after all !
TK Maxx also had some Nails inc polishes and some Babyliss electricals in which were really well priced. I was surprised cos usually when someone gives me the heads up on TK Maxx I go in and find nothing.
Also, have a couple of UUs and INs to report:-
UU : 15ml tube of Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator. About the only product containing rose that does not irritate my skin. WBA - this is lovely stuff but can't afford right now. Haven't got any facial scrub left at all but am trying to do without. Will have to see how my skin behaves over Christmas but for now it's fine.
UU: 500ml bottle of L'occitane Verbena liquid soap. WBA : Love this product as it's non-drying however the only liquid soaps now in my stash are 2 x bottles I bought in Bath and Body Works in US. We have started using one of them : Creamy Pumpkin but I don't like it. It's weird in that it looks like liquid soap in the bottle but pumps out as a foam. Foams strip my skin so this is drying my hands out and the smell is very synthetic and sickly. MrM and Emma however love it. I'm hoping that John Lewis have the special offer of 2 x L'Occitane liquid soap for £20.00 again in Jan.
INs: Not counting what I have bought for pressies for people I have only bought essentials for me in the form of Cutex Ultra Cleansing nail lacquer remover (down to last dribble in my current bottle) and cotton wool pads. The Cutex is HG product for me.
Was quite proud of myself last week as I bought my Secret Santa present for work from Boots without participating in the 342 offer. There was nothing else I wanted to buy cosmetic wise for anyone. I have got Emma a Babyliss Root Boost for Xmas and intended getting her the Umberto Giovanni gift set to go with it but decided against as the value was appalling when you consider that his full sized products are 342 at the mo (plus my lovely friend donated a voucher from the kiosk to me so I got 200 extra Advantage points as well).Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi all!
Hope you are all well. A few weeks ago I bought a small tub (10 ml) of Sanctuary's night cream and I must say this is the best night cream I have ever used, I love that it is rich but doesn't feel rich. I have really struggled to find facial creams that I like so will definetely buy this one again. I think a full size tub is around £12 which is bargain for me I am used to pay at least 3 times that price.
On Friday I bought a "bargain box" at Debenhams with Sanctuary's products it was originally £30, then reduced to £25.50 and I then used £10 of my beauty rewards points so in the end I only paid £15.50 but for that price I got 30ml facial wash, 15 ml facial exfoliator, facial day moisturiser 15 ml, body wash 250 ml (this is a Christmas present), foaming bath soak 250 ml (another Christmas present), body salt scrub 270 g, Body butter 100 ml, hand wash, 250 ml and foot cream 75 ml. I am well pleased with this purchase and having done this challenge for nearly 2 years most of these products will be used straight away.
Two UU's this weekend, clarins facial exfoliator, I wont buy this again the product wasn't "scrubby" enough and a small bottle of Dior's Miss Dior cherie, the smell was lovely but at the moment I have too many perfumes to use up before I am allowed to buy anymore.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
Another UU - a Tesco baby bubble bath decanted into handwash containers - WBA as only 8p!!:jLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Have used up another shower gel and the LE eye cream that I thought was a splutterer a few weeks ago has finally given up the ghost. I ended up cutting the top off every so often and when I got near the bottom that I couldn't reach with my finger started using a cotton bud and probably managed to get about another three weeks use out of it. Have some sample eye cream to use next but with me rushing in the morning am trying to think of a way of decanting it into something suitable I already have at home and can't think what I can use so at the moment I'm not using any eye cream.
Have spent a couple of hours today trying to sort out my stash. Have gotten about half way through and am now bored so will try and finish it off next weekend. Am hoping that I am now under 500 products but not sure if that's being a bit optimisticDid owe £9,951.96

Evening Ladies
I'm just checking in to report a purchase....I've treated myself to a Mitchem Deo stick as it was on offer for £2 in ASDA today. I'm going to bypass the naughty step though as I've just opened the last deo in my stash so consider this was necessary
I've also used my Pantene sachets as sent by And but will not be buying as although I have very fine hair I found these products made it really greasy:(
****Sorry I keep missing you And to do your survey but I'm in every evening this week except WednesdayLooking forward to chatting
