    There's going to be a muuuuuuuurder:rotfl:

Eldest asked to borrow my mobile last night for his work break (old one works fine worthless but does what it is supposed to do make calls, recieve them etc) he brought it back and it will not work.

Did not notice until this morning, took the battery out, switched on and off does nothing.

OH trying to get in touch all day, he rang the landline I told him and he said talk to son, well talk I was absolutely:mad: at his reaction, to condense it he said....

I don't care, not interested, switch it on and off, it worked before when you gave it to me broken:eek:(not true just lashing out talking rubbish)

I will not take it to the shop unless you pay for the repairs, it is a rubbish old phone anyway, what is the problem(I asked him to see it in role reverse he would be beside himself with fury and he said that I washed his phone in September and never replaced it, I did not he put his jeans into the washing machine with his phone in it) You never replaced it for my birthday, I am not going to do anything about it, you gave it to me broken:eek:

It is replaceable yes, it is an old phone yes, I never gave it to him broken and it is nothing more than the principal, it was never 'oh mum your phone seems to be playing up let me go to the shop and sort it out for you' oh no it was all out war....

I kept saying to him it is the principal, the mobile itself is not it,he knew he had left me without a working mobile,
it is his attitude, I want to $£^%^&^( and I want to do x y z and more to him , I have gone overboard and told him no xmas presents, no this no that if he wants to escalate this game on, I am being pathetic, a proper little child, but it is the principal to me, he never even bothered to tell me, he is old enough to realise if it is broken fix it, him fix it not me.

    It is the principal.

Before anyone tells me it is all my fault, I am sure it is to have raised a son that is like this, I am sure it is.

Victory, Victory, Victory - are you EVER going to learn??? A Mother's place is in the WRONG!!! Especially when you are the proud parent of a stroppy teenager!

No suggestions about your phone, I'm afraid - but in your position, if you possibly can, I would play a little Mind Game with DS .....I'd buy myself the best possible phone that I could afford, with as many bells and whistles attached that a teenager could possibly envy ....and start using it, in the full view of DS, and say "oh well, seeing as my phone is broken, I'm going to use the one I was going to give you for Christmas - and now of course, I don't have any money left to buy you one the same!!!

And of course, stand back and watch the fireworks! But of course you wouldn't do that ......would you? ....could you ...:D

Oh well - its a nice dream! Bl**dy teenagers - who'd have 'em?

You see yes that is the point, it is the principal, yes he did know, no he never said a word when he gave it back (left it on the side in the kitchen) and then today when asked he just shrugged and said 'Oh yes I forgot'

    Know exactly how you feel.

My son broke my beautiful garden pot by my front door playing football.
All he did was turn it round the other way so I could not see it.

How do you know it was me? he asked.( I just knew).Eventually he owned up, and he is not a child - he was 18 at the time.

I really really don't want to cause offense, but I have to do this....

    It's principle, not principal.
