  • My account number has 10 digits instead of 8!

    Hello,

I was a little confused when I got the 10 digit account number, A quick call to Citi and they confirmed to me dropping of the first two 00 will give you your account number

  • Sorry. Is this thread referring to the Sterling Current Account advertised on the Citi website, here:

    http://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/banking/bankingproducts/currentaccounts/sterling/changes.htm

I see they're now charging a tenner a month for this from April?
  • just an up-date my benefits went in today, 1 day late but £1 heavier, so I guess it may have been my mistake last week when I gave them the wrong details, just read the other post about the charge but you dont have to take it, I'll have a word with citi and let you know. sorry I haven't been online my pc has been playing up so I installed a new hard drive which took abit longer than I thought to sort out.

  • Hi all just been reading the terms and conditions, and the account is the same cards cheque book overdraft etc, so I guess I might just swap to the "citibank access account" and have no fees to pay, it still does everything that the current account does, so I guess we may as well go for it and swap over. it still pays DD's and SO's I cant see the difference.

  • for those of you who went through quidco I would wait until you get your cash, for those of you who did'nt I would swap now using the link on there website, then it wont seem as though we were all in it for the money, I for one have swapped, but only because I haven't got a penny from quidco, not even for the savers account, which as I have not got any paper work from citibank about this but know I now have a savings account with them due to online banking, have decided to jump accounts.
I'm not really bothered about an overdraft as I've never had one before and I think it would just temp me to spend money I didn't really have.
