  • So how quickly would my DWP payments (IS, DLA, CA) and child tax credits (CTC & CB) take to move over to my new account? How do I do it? All are paid weekly, except my DLA which is paid 4 weekly.

    Sorry to be a pain.

    PP
    xx
I got paid 25th jan 07 so rang the DWP and they said everything would be done, but as I gave them the wrong details I had to ring them back the next day which was friday, although they did'nt say they would a delay there was a delay of 1 day so I got paid friday 2nd instead of thursday the 1st, so hopefully my money will go in as normal next week on the thursday. sorry for the confusion and hope this helps

Hi garden and welcome to the club, in your welcome pack there should be a mandate for wages and one for DD's you can fill these in and send then back to citi which takes about 4 weeks I think but I'm not sure on that, or do it yourself by phoning the relevent people and giving them your new bank details and congrats again for joining the club, did you know that citi are changing there account names if you went with quidco wait for the cash to be put in your quidco account then switch to the access account which wont charge you any fees.

  • just checking my sons citibank application,
31/01/07 applied on line through quidco
01/02/07 got application in post signed and id's sent back where, bank statement/photo copy of passport/£1 cheque/mastercard statement. just in case, tax form with his address details on, sent that back on friday 1st class envelope previded by citibank, so we shall wait and see what happens next, and I'll up date you as it goes. so all in all it took 2 days from applying to returning form with id's.

  • I'm going to be keeping my Citibank account with the £10 for the time being, as we're going to the states in April and last time we went, it cost us £60 in travel insurance to go and Citibank gives us that for £10 a month, we travel a lot so it will probably be worhtwhile for us.
£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86
    £1 Jar (Christmas)- £29
    Christmas Vouchers Saved: £145
  • at first it was a shock, but after you get used to it, it makes you wonder "do I need it or dont I " I fancy the card protection bit, but nothing else really.
