Thought I would let everyone know that I had no problems whatg so ever with my salary going in today. I then went out and spent £450 on my debit card with no problems what so ever.

I reckon citi have been inundated with enquiries and applications now so are being more choosy. Im not going to bother phoning for an update ill just wait and see, you never know it could be that when you phone they just tell you that you have been declined to get the number of applications down as they are snowed under.

Yes, please do ... I've already decided I'm going to appeal against the decision ... I do think it might be cos I've had quite a few credit searches recently which has probably lowered my score ... which was already low anyway ...

EDIT .... Just spoken to Citibank and they say they report back to Experian every month with account conduct ... so that's good then .. :cool:

That's a relief ... Mine goes in next Wednesday so I'll be checking it first thing that day ...

Hi due to this forum I got my first current account and debit card. Can any one help me further on to get a credit card. I dont have much credit history and my credit score is quite bad about 587/1000 i.e 2 star rating out of five.
Please sugest me some credit cards which I can apply for and get accepted hopefully.

Hi have you tried the aqua credit card they accepted us and we dont have a great credit rating.

Capital one seem to be ok for people who do not have the bets rating, Infact I read that they do a rebuild your credit score card. Interest is high though but worth it to help you rebuild that score. Good Luck
