Hi BTD:), sort of, it was money I was giving OH for Xmas stuff etc but I forgot about and he won't accept:D.. result. Happy New Year to you too.
The lights are flickering here because of the storm. OH rang and he is sitting in the dark waiting for the power to come back on and the storm is getting worse so he could be sitting in the dark for a bit longer:)
I'm trying to think of some sort of hobby to fill my time in the evening. Intuitive eating hasn't been a great success:o. I just don't know when to stop eating crap. So it's back to structured eating and trying to fill the evenings. In the summer I could go for a run or visit friends. In the winter I just want to hibernate and eat crap all the time.
I can't run for a month while knee is healing so a bit bored but that's probably the same for everyone in January.
I'm still positive and happy but wish my ED was way in the past rather than in the present (but moving into the past). It's very hard not being drawn into dieting chats at the minute and all those new year resolutions about weight. Good luck to anyone who wants to lose weight to feel better but boy did it mess me up.
Well the Next parcel has arrived and it's all going back - I don't know what possessed me but it's all money saved:T
I'm watching Mamma Mia and I love it:D. A healthy does of cheesy tv

Morning all:wave:
Another wet and windy day outside and I'm all for hibernating again. Work was pants this week, nothing particular happened but it felt like the weekend would never come. I was even considering buying a scratchcard to find my fortune but the £1 is better put in my money jar.
OH has an appointment for his doctor about his depression and last night he said he was thinking about cancelling it. I've had to deal with his stress/depression for over 4 years and every time I think he's going to get help he changes his mind. Things have to be very bad for him to make an appointment but he seems to forget this once the worst of it is over.
I took the Next bundle back to the shop and the shop assistant was lovely she pointed me in the direction of the new catalogue as it has "some lovely bits in it "...temptation, temptation, temptation." If I was to buy anything it wasn't me it was the shop assistant:o
On the happy side - I don't work a full week now until February:T and I have a week off at the end of the month to use up leave. Very happy Munchin.
I also dropped in my referral to the gym and should hear from them by the end of the month.
On the hobby front I'm no further forward but I do love to read which is something but I wanted to do somthing a bit more productive. I might have to go find some crafting information which I think is on this site and see what it comes up with.
Plans today - not much. Put dynamite under OH and get him out of bed would be a good start:)
Have a good day everyone

Hi all
OH interrupted me earlier so I had to post and run:D.
19 days to pay day and I'll probably have to move clothing money over to Groceries to survive the month.
Yesterday was a lot more productive than I thought it would be. I had a massive clear out at home and rearranged my room. The only downside was that my knee and hip were sore last night and I had no painkillers at OHs house.
Work should be ok this week as I have loads of meetings and excuses not to be sitting at a desk all day.
My laptop is sending me bad vibes. Something to do with the battery. I got this laptop from my brother a few years ago as he was upgrading. I think it's time i upgraded this little laptop. I'm going to see which 1 I want and how much it costs and that will be my first purchase in the Jan sales 2013:D or earlier if I clear my debt. Patience, patience, patience. I know my problem is that I want things instantly hense the credit card debt.0 -
My nephew has had a nasty tummy bug and he's very kindly passed it on to me. It will be an early night tonight and hopefully it will pass.
Work was very busy which is excellent the day flew in. Tomorrow I have a meeting out of the office which will basically kill most of the day.:)
My knee is killing me. I had the steroid injection to help it and it's made it 10 times worse. Not sure what to do now.:( Back to the drawing board:)

Hi all:wave:
The bug is making it's way through the family:(. Poor Mum was up all night. I made it into work and wasn't home until after 7 but wee sis had popped up and made dinner:T (she smit us with the bug in the first place so it's only fair:))
Another amazing breakthrough in my recovery from ED. Sis had brought up Ben & Gerrys ice cream. She said that you could only eat a small bowl - i have never found that to be true:o. Guess what - she was right!!!! One small step for ED recovery:T
Looks like I'm going to have to fork out for a laptop battery sooner than I expected. The computer wasn't lying when it flashed up the battery warning signs this last month. The battery is on it's knees and I can't live without the MSE world:). I think a new battery is £50 but checking with brother to make sure that this little lappy will last me for a while.:)
Isn't there always something:)

Hi all
I'm sitting here with scraps of paper all round me - it may look like it is chaos but it's organised budgeting:D
So rang Tesco today as I have my car loan with them as well as my credit card. I can view my card on their website but can't view the loan. I would like to start overpaying the loan which is why I rang them so that once the card is paid I can overpay the loan online. According to Tesco you can't see the loan online at the minute but it is in the pipe line.
So my plans for 2012 (apart from health and happiness:)) -
Tesco card- £900..... Aim - pay off by May 2012
Car loan - £3848... Aim - pay off by Nov 2012
I will continue to put in £100 to my general savings to pay for my holiday and car insurance. I thought about paying of the tesco card with my credit union savings but the card is 0% so I'd rather have a comfort blanket of some savings.
I know that they say that God laughs at those who make plans but it's good to have some goals.
So what I would like is that come Xmas 2012, I will have an additional £525 a month in my account that will not be going towards debts. I will own my car outright and will not be in debt to Mr T.
However to achieve these goals I have to try and stick to my budgets so please wag your finger, shake your heads and tut tut when I stray from the MSE path. However emergency chocolate is medicinal.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hi all:(
Well I'm sitting here very poorly. I thought I had the family sick bug on Monday past as I wasn't feeling the best. Well from 10pm last night I have been vomiting and also the other end bit. It's defo lifting now but I feel exhausted (can't see green sick smiley). I wanted to sleep but almost every hour I was up ill. Sitting here with duvet watching tv and my Mum has made me a cup of tea (Mums are amazing:D).
This puts a dampener on the weekend as I don't want to smit my OH.
No plans, i'm going to sit and read the kindle do a few swagbucks and spend no money today:)
I had to edit this post as I forgot about spends from yesterday. I took nephews swimming and it wasn't soo bad. My 2012 free card turned up so I only had to pay for myself (£3.60) and I spent £3 on drinks for them and bought a sarnie for lunch £3.15 (I know I know, bad Munchin.) Total spends yesterday - £9.75. We had a great time as we haven't been at the pool since before Xmas and it was so worth it.:D

Morning all:wave:
I'm alive:j. Oh dear that was a bad bout of sickness and I pulled something when ill and my tummy is still very tender. I'm round here at OHs being pampered and feeling soo much better.
I can honestly say that I'm a 'very sorry for myself' patient. On the positive side Fri was an NSD as I couldn't move from the sofa. Yesterday was a bit of a spendy day as I had to buy diesel (£45:eek:). The tank was reading that I had only 1 mile left when I made it to the garage:o.
I spent £2.50 for 2 coffees for me and mum and £4 for nephew no 2 to run round a ball park. Popped into Asda and spent £6 whole pounds. I should go shopping more often after being ill, I didn't fancy anything but got the basics.
I'm already planning for my hols. I have nowhere booked and I don't know where I want to go and it's not until Sept. However this is such a carppy time of year that it's good to look ahead.
So budget looks like this -
Groceries - £42.83
Clothes - £0
Presents - £0
Entertainment - 45.72
B'card (diesel) - +£45
Money to pay of loan early - £0
