    Back again

OH interrupted me so I had to abandon my waffling:D. So the money situation above isn't quite right as I have put money in my sealed pot for this month (£1 for 365 days).

I have £45.73 in my purse and £24 in my current account. So that is what has to do me to the end of the month. 12 days to pay day. I want to try and live on my purse money and not touch my account.

This week I need money for pool on Thurs (£10), food for weekend with OH (£20) so it is doable.

I spent £2.50 today on papers and pancakes. The girl didn't charge me for the pancakes and I didn't realise until I was heading for home (I was too busy sorting out the coppers to pay with). If I'd noticed it in the shop I would have said (guilt) but I didn't.

Going to read the papers and then start hunting for hols.

For info to myself - Lent starts 22nd Feb and ends 7th April. Can you tell I have to have plans.

    Evening all

I'm back to normal, sick bug is away :D

OH is a pain:(. He went to the doctor who discussed anti depressants and counselling with him. I think he is going to take the counselling but not the drugs. He now doesn't see why he went and it's all a waste of time.

I know that he has to sort this out but he doesn't see that my life is on hold while he sorts out his problems. I know that sounds selfish but as I can't say it to him then I can say it to the MSE world.

Money situation - a friend handed me £6 in 2 pound coins yesterday as he knows I'm collecting them (really surprised) anyhow I gave him £5.50 out of my entertainment budget (still owe him 50p). So this budget has dropped a bit more but it's still 2 NSDs in a row :T

Also I put £45 worth of diesel in my car on sat, thinking it would fall into the next credit card statement - not so - it's now in this months statement so now having to jiggle funds to pay for it. On positive side I'm due the cashback in March and this will pay for a full tank of diesel.

Still making own lunches but today I realised that the bread for my sarnie was blue moulded only when I took it out of my lunch bag. I ended picking at work bikkies and chocs to make up for it. I only bought the loaf on Saturday.

My niece is just off the phone. It's so weird having a "grown up" conversation with a 12 year old:D.

Budgets are looking healthy enough for the middle of Jan:)

    Groceries - £42.83
    Clothes - £0
    Presents - £0
    Entertainment - £40.22
    B'card (diesel) - +£0
Money to pay of loan early - £0

I've also been rejiggling budgets (I'm obsessed). I want to pay as much towards the credit card as possible so I've reduced the amount to my credit union savings and using part of this money to pay credit card.

    Hi all,

yeah it's Friday:T and I have the day off. I'm now dosed with the cold so i can't see myself venturing too far:)

Spends yesterday, i spent £9.80 on n&n. I took them swimming and then bought them some treats and I also spent 99p on chips yesterday:o I just couldn't think of anything to eat and I didn't want bread but they were well worth it:D.

So spends left now (7 days to pay day) -

    Groceries - £41.82
    Clothes - £0
    Presents - £0
    Entertainment - £30.42
    B'card (diesel) - +£0
Money to pay of loan early + £10

    Morning all

It is absolutely blowing a gale outside and I would much rather be tucked up in bed but I have to get dressed for mass.

I'm listening to Snow Patrol on the radio and I'm going to see them in concert on Tues:j (tickets bought in Sept). I'm trying to introduce more positive things in my life. An ED takes up a lot of your time & focus and when it's gone there is a large void.

I've also got myself some knitting needles and wool. I haven't knitted since I was a child but you never know I might love it. Lots of scarves and squares as that's my limit:)

I would love to get back to running or any form of exercise but my knee is still bad and I can't walk much at the minute.

I need to pop to Mr T today as I promised OH I would cook a lasagne but his cupboards are very bare. I'm also thinking about baking some chocolate brownies as baking also went out the window with my ED and I think it would be nice to bring back some things I used to enjoy.

    Plans today-

    - mass
    - light clean of house
    - ebay handbag & anything else I can find
    - bake brownies

Ok away for a shower and have a lovely day everyone.

    Hi everyone

I'm on leave this week and not quite sure what to do with myself. Tomorrow is sorted as I have an eye test and a concert to go to but after that not sure. I'm not good at having nothing planned.

I managed to make brownies yesterday and it was so therapeutic and managed to have 1 and walk away from the rest
:j. However I spent £30 in Asda:o. I think it would have been cheaper to buy brownies and lasagne already made but the cupboards are stocked.

Before my MSE moment I had a wardrobe full of clothes (lots I didn't wear) but now if it's in the wardrobe it gets worn.

    Hi all

It looks like spends are going to be very tight coming up to pay day. I went for my eye test yesterday and I needed new glasses as my eyesight is a bit worse (no surprise and I hate my current glasses). So £75 spent in Boots but that is 2 pairs of glasses. I'm not counting the eye sight test as I used a £10 voucher and I'm claiming the rest of it back from work.

I put the cost on my interest free card and will pay it off when I get paid on friday.

I pootled round the shopping centre while I was waiting and popped into that high end boutique.....Primark:). My sisters and friends always seem to find some really nice pieces in there but I always struggle. I think it's because I don't have the patience or the eye for detail. I spotted a nice t-shirt for £1.50 but forgot to go back and tryit on after my eye test.

Last night i went and saw Snow Patrol and they were amazing. OH also had a great time and he was dancing away like a mad thing. Being stuck in the carpark for 45 mins in a big jam didn't quite burst our bubble but it wasn't far off.

I have no plans for today I'm round at OHs and really all my plans are at home but will probably venture home tmw.

    Evening everyone

I fell asleep after lunchtime so I'm not that tired now.

OH took me out for dinner tonight. I've really wanted to go to this local restaurant for ages and it's had such good reviews. I ordered steak and it was awful. I've never had such a bad meal in my life. I ate the chips and sauce that came with it. I hate complaining, i've never complained about a bad meal in my life (keeping everything in has been my default programme until now:o). However whenever the waitress came to take our plates away and asked if we enjoyed our meal I was honest and told it was bad and explained why. The steak was supposed to be medium but it was grey & insipid and you would have needed a chainsaw (I didn't tell her that part). She was really nice and gave us the cost of our drinks (I think we should have had the cost of our meals but complaining is all new to me). OH was firstly stunned that I had complained and then really proud of me. While we were waiting for our bill the table next to us who appeared to be regulars were complaining.

OH and I don't go out much with his depression and it was so disappointing to have a crap meal.

We'll just have to go somewhere we know next time:)

    NSD today

    Morning all

I have so many things I need to do today but instead I've been sitting here with my budgets as it's pay day tomorrow :j. I also got my loan statement and it shows I have 14 more months to pay:( but I want to have it paid at the start of Nov which will be 5 months early. I therefore need to find an additional £1378 from somewhere.

In my purse at minute I have £31.76 and I've already planned the budgets from tomorrows pay -

    Purse - £31.76
    Groceries - £100
    Presents - £60
    Entertainment - £60
    B'card (diesel) - £150
Money to pay of loan early + £110

I've dumped the clothes budget this month as I have 2 nephews to buy presents for.

I also have £110 against my early loan repayment which means I only have to find £1268:eek: but once I've cleared my credit card then I will have more money for this.

    Todays plans -

    • clean out & hoover car
    • clean internal doors
    • hoover house
    • take n&ns swimming
    • pick up n&ns from school at different times
    • tidy up bedroom
      • clean bathroom

That should keep me going for a while.

    Morning all:)

Up early as its Sunday but need to get back into an early morning routine as I'm back to work tomorrow :(.

Yesterday was great, I was helping out at a running race round a horse race track. It was brilliant, the commentator spoke as if the runners were horses. Very good atmosphere but so so so cold. If I can't run then I can support:)

Yesterday was also a spend day £45 in Tesco (£30 shopping & £15 on clothes for nephews birthday) but I did get a £5 off voucher for next week. I also spent £2.99 on drinks n snacks to keep me going all yesterday and then last night £6.49 on a bottle of wine. See a spendy day was had:o

    Budgets

    Purse - £22.28
    Groceries - £70
    Presents - £45
    Entertainment - £60
    B'card (diesel) - £150
Money to pay of loan early + £110

OH bought dinner on Fri & Sat night but he's back today so I'm off home. Today we have a birthday party at home for my nephew so I guess I better doodle off there and start cleaning and preparing for an influx of mini people:D

5 days in work this week, hopefully I'll manage to escape to a meeting or something to break up my week.
