    Hi all

Quick update. I had a few spends yesterday as I went to Asda and got my niece her present. OH had picked loads of blackcurrants so I bought pectin & sugar to make jelly. I also popped to the kitchen shop to get muslin and jam covers.

    Budget

    General spends - £77.16/£171
    Planned spends - £29/£102

    Hi all

First day in work done and dusted yesterday:). It absolutely flew in which was great but I still have over 100 emails to trawl through today.

I had a few more spends yesterday - £5.06 in Mr T on a tin of sweets for my other office, paper & chewing gum. I also got a text message from my Mum to get her some carrots so 89p spent in Lidl.

I spent yesterday evening trying to get the cheapest car hire for my trip to England - not so easy when you need a 7 seater. The cheapest I could find was £117.76 so I just paid the deposit last night which was £15.36. I still have to book car parking at Belfast but that should be about £14.

    Budget

    Spends - £127.47/£[STRIKE]273 [/STRIKE]

I have my Italy trip coming up in 2 weeks and I think I just need to book travel insurance which should cost me £6.39.

I have 2 more weeks in work and then I'm on leave again:D

    Hi all

I had a great night last night, I was at a running event with my running club and it was nice to be involved again. I had a bit of a blip with the car on the way home - the oil light came on. The last time that happened it cost me about £80 to fix. Thankfully when I stopped the car and turned the ignition of then started it again the light stayed of, so it probably just needs a top up of oil. I was worried as I have tons of travelling to do this week.

I made it to Pilates this morning and I loved it - I am definitely in a positive mood at the minute.

I went to Sainsbugs today to do my weekly grocery shop, stopped at the butcher and the chemist so I spent £70.71. I'm hoping to have lots of NSDs this week.

    Budget

    Spends - £198.18/£

I also spent today cleaning the house - so hopefully tomorrow will be a proper day of rest.

I'm starting to get really excited about going to Italy. We're going to Venice for a day as well as Lake Garda:D

    Hi all

Yikes another week has gone flying by
. I got paid today and have the budgets set for Oct

    Food..............£12.93/£200
    Diesel.............£80/£200
    Holiday...........£xx/£250
    Odds..............£5/£50
    Alcohol days... xx/25
    SFD................xx/18

My food includes take outs which OH and I like to treat ourselves to on a Friday night.

It annoys me how high my diesel spends are but thankfully even though I have driven about 500 miles this week I can claim about 1/2 of it back.

I am going on a short holiday to Italy next week and hopefully £250 should cover everything. I'm going with a large group and it's hard to estimate my budget.

I spent £5 on a dvd which I saw on the Xmas thread:o and I spent £12.93 on groceries for my Mum. I would feel too bad asking her for the money back.

    Morning all

I am so knackered this morning. I decided to upgrade the software on my iphone to ios7 what a nightmare. The phone crashed as it was updating so I had to reset it to factory settings and add all the stored information again. I wasn't finished until midnight:eek:. Phone working now so that is something.

I'm having a bit of an easy day. I have a meeting at 10am which is about a 30 min drive away and then I'm training someone in the afternoon so I hope to get away at 4pm today. Ok my 4pm generally turns into 6pm but I keep trying:)

I popped down and saw my friend yesterday. It was a quick visit to see her and her babies (twins). It is one thing I'm learning from my counsellor is to make the most of my friends.

My couselling sessions have now finished and it has been over a month since I last felt panicked or binged:D. I can't say I wont struggle with this urge again but at least I feel that I can deal with it.

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all

I'm going to have to do a wee adjustment on my budget for Oct. I have to buy oil for my car this morning and I have a £50 budget for odds but going to increase this and reduce the food budget as I'm sure the oil will at least be £20.

    Food..............£21.63/£180
    Diesel.............£80/£200
    Holiday...........£xx/£250
    Odds..............£10/£70
    Alcohol days... xx/25
    SFD................xx/18
    TLTW.............xx/22

I see Mr Cameron is giving tax breaks for married people - I wonder if I could use that as an excuse for Mr M to pop the question:D. I'm sure married couples are delighted but I find it a bit unfair that because you are married you get a tax break.

    Plans today -
    • buy oil
    • groceries
    • pilates
    • clean house
Ok time to make a move and get Sat started.

    Hi all

Back again:). I've done my weekly shop and also bought a few treats for halloween and hid them away.

    • £4.69 M&S
    • £8.80 car oil
    • £10.12 B&M
    • £1.25 £ stretch
    • £4 pilates
    Total - £49.38

    Budget (Oct)

    Food..............£46.84/£180
    Diesel.............£80/£200
    Holiday...........£xx/£250
    Odds..............£34.17/£70
    Alcohol days... xx/25
    SFD................xx/20
    TLTW.............xx/22

I had a bit of a nightmare this morning. I went to Pilates and after class fired my water bottle into my handbag and guess what - I'd left the lid up. My handbag was soaked but the worst is that my work phone has been drowned. It is now languishing in my hot press in a bag of rice to see if that could bring it back from the brink. Thank goodness it wasn't my iphone:eek:.

OH is now talking about popping into Lidl so I might go with my for the sail - I must not buy anything.. I must not buy anything..:D

    Hi all

I have had a few spends today. In total it was £5 as I bought the paper and some biscuits for my Mum and then they were doing a charity collection at church and I only had £2.51 left.

    Budget (Oct)

    Food..............£51.84/£180
    Diesel.............£80/£200
    Holiday...........£xx/£250
    Odds..............£34.17/£70
    Alcohol days... xx/25
    SFD................xx/20
    TLTW.............xx/22

My poor Mum has hurt her ankle so I'm trying to do as much for her this afternoon before I head home.

OH is working today but my sister and kids are coming up to visit me in a wee bit:)
