    Evening world

I had quite a busy day and it will probably be the same tomorrow. I spent £50 on liquid gold for my car:(, I wish I didn't need to drive but I work between 2 offices so it isn't possible (no bus or rail service).

    Budget (Oct)

    Food..............£145.72/£200
    Diesel.............£180.68/£200
    Holiday...........£308.78/£250
    Odds..............£110.61/£120
    Alcohol days... 13/21
    SFD................9/20
    TLTW.............2/22

We are sorting out our Xmas leave in work at the minute. Of course no one wants to work Xmas so every year we go through the same old story of asking staff to consider other people etc and then drawing names out of a hat:).

On the money front - I have a plan:D. I sat down and planned out all my spends for the rest of the month and Nov. I am going to set myself a strict budget and see if I can stick to it. I have 2 birthdays to buy for this month but if I can save a bit in Nov then Dec and Jan will be ok. I have my MOT in Dec so that could be a wee bit expensive.

I love to plan and budget - I never did before:)

    Hi all

I'm sitting on my sofa gathering strength for the rest of the day. No I have not been overcome by some ailment but I have agreed to take my nephews shopping in about 45 minutes:). They are great individually but together.......I wonder if it is too late to find some valium. I've already broke into the emergency kit kat:D.

On money front - I won £25 on the lottery:). I got the e-mail this morning about your ticket will be paid into your bank account and I so hoped it was a million or so but still delighted it was £25. I know that the lottery is a waste of money etc but "it could be me:rotfl:".

E-bay- I have listed 3 items and have tons of watchers........if they would just convert to bidders I would be a happy Munchin. The listings end at 1 today so hopefully fingers and toes crossed. I have my eye on a dress which I sold 6 months ago and so regretted it. I'm hoping what I sell on ebay will cancel out the cost of the dress.

OH made chilli & we had it on Friday and Sat so that saved me some pennies.

I did a Park run race yesterday:). No knee trouble but I'm terribly unfit on the running front so I have to work on that. I also want to transition out of my orthodics. I think they are causing more problems than solving. I will start trying to reduce the time I wear them in my shoes before going mad and removing them entirely. If it doesn't work I will put them back in again.

    Budget (Oct)

    Food..............£160.51/£200
    Diesel.............£180.68/£200
    Holiday...........£308.78/£250
    Odds..............£134.21/£120
    Alcohol days... 13/21
    SFD................13/20
    TLTW.............5/22

Sorry I'm jibbering on a lot this morning but feeling pretty good - so will enjoy it while it lasts.:)

Hope you all have a lovely day

    Afternoon all,

Survived the babysitting. I seriously do not know how the average family can afford to take their kids to the cinema. I took my nephews to the cinema - 3 tickets + 2 small soft drinks + 1 bottle of water + 1 bag of giant buttons = £17.60:eek:. It was only a trip to the cinema. It was worth it as it hasn't stopped raining today and it has given my sister a break.

On the old ebay front I sold my items and won my dress so if the cost of posting my 3 items comes to less than £4.25 - then I'm counting this as a non spend. However as 1 of the items is going first class me thinks I'm being a tad optimistic:o.

    Morning world:D

Only 63 days to Xmas - yes I'm one of them people:santa2:. Actually I keep reading the xmas thread and it is making me realise I haven't a clue what to get people - again:o.

I feel very lethargic and bloated today, which I know is directly related to carp ate over the weekend. I know when I stick to my better eating thing I'm full of energy and ready to take on the world. Today I'm crouched over the computer bloated and sore.

On the old money front - not so bad. Ok overspent on holiday and my odds budget. My "take lunch to work" was a bit ambitious as I wasn't at work most of the month.

I have another Xmas dinner to pay for this week which I had forgotten about (£20) and a small gift to buy my niece for her birthday.

I get my payslip tomorrow and will be paid on Tuesday :). I'm off to the post office today with my ebay parcels. Please let them be about £5 to post.

I was chatting to my sister last night and am really looking forward to visiting her next weekend.

    Budget (Oct)

I'm going to yoga tonight and then sitting in with a cup of tea and the Great British Bake off - final tonight :D

    Morning:)

Frances won the Great British Bake off - I would have preferred Kimberly but I'm still happy for Frances. Funny how I fancied cake once the programme was over:D

I've still not got much energy. Usually I go to circuits etc in the evening but for the last 2 days I've just sat in front of the fire reading/watching TV. I keep saying I'm going to go to the doctor as depending on food I eat I can be zonked or have stomach pains and other bad things:o. I just haven't got round to it yet.

So on the money front. I do have money in my current account but I really don't want to touch it - no reason apart from setting myself a challenge. My credit card statement arrived yesterday which means my cc balance is back to zero. I use it for odds and some shopping - so to stop me sneaking things onto it I'm going to keep the balance on here.

I have to pay for nephews judo class today and hopefully that will be it until Friday night and then my grocery spends must come out of it. I'm hoping to stretch this until 01st Nov.

    Purse - £46.29
    Credit card - £0.00

I'm hoping to squeeze in a wee run this evening but unless I find my mojo it wont be happening:o

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks Greying - I will do it tomorrow afternoon as I should be out of work early.

I'm still feeling bleurgh and I'm not helping things by eating tons of carp. I was hoping to go out with a friend for a run tonight but she had to cancel. I didn't want to go on my own as it was getting dark so after picking nephew up from judo I just ate carp. Thanks to counseling I know that I'm stressing about something (don't know what yet) and I'm using food to address the problem. I just need that next stage - the one that tells me what the problem is:o

Tomorrow as I'm not due into work until 9.30, I'm going to get up early put on my trainers and head out the door.

If anyone sees me sneaking on here tomorrow and confessing to not budging out the door then you have my permission to wag your fingers at me:D

    Plans tmw -
    • go for a run
    • make appointment with doctors.

    Hi all

Ok confession:o, didn't go for run or make doctors appointment. Appt will be made today - honest:D and I'm meeting friends for a run tmw.

I'm still not 100% but I think I've turned the corner again.

I was a wee bit spendy yesterday but I got my niece a birthday present. I bought lunch but am claiming it back. I just have to make £21 stretch to Thursday... ooops. I also spent £43 on diesel.

    Purse - £21
    Credit card - £43.07

    Hi all

I had a pretty good day. I still feel a bit pants but am getting there. I managed to make it to my run and my pilates class. I knocked 1 minute of my 5k time:D - well my time last week was the slowest ever.

I got home babysat my nephew. I made a pot of carrot and lentil soup - very MSE as I had the ingredients and it should last me a few days. I'm off to my niece's b'day party tomorrow - jelly and icecream:).

I also managed to make an appointment with my doctor for Tues morning.

    Purse - £11.59
    Credit card - £43.07

On the money front - I'm kind of skint until pay day. I need £4 for circuits on Mon & another £4 for my nephews judo class on Wed. I get paid on Tues but as I mentioned before I don't want to touch my money until the 1st of the month.
