    :D Thanks Docky, keep dry!
  • FUDDLE - bet you didn't think getting your trolley would start a trend did you? How is pup today? We had a border terrier 25 years ago who had persistent tummy problems and was finally found to have colitis. I don't know if the still make it but we fed him on CHAPPIE dog food. The original one was fish and rice but I think they made a chicken one as well. This was always what was recommended for fragile tummied pooches, and Ghillie was fine on it. It's a bit smelly but as I remember at the cheaper end of the dog food market. Docky doesn't do tinned food at all (picky little blighter) but it is what I would try if you don't want the fuss of cooking it all yourself. Hope that is useful. If you want an idea to decorate your smart and trendy trolley you could make an applique of Pup and put that on, would be very individual! Have a good evening Cheers Lyn xx.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, what a friendly thread :)

Had a bit of a rubbish day at work today, so feel very fed up this evening. Why do some people always want to put you down? :(

I doubt she'll actually come or get her case out for her shopping but the way she had a think and a change of opinion, getting carried away with it all was nice and at least she's one person who won't be raising an eyebrow at my 'elderly person's accessory'. How silly - the internet is full of chic women pulling there bags/cases/shopping on wheels. Even the shopping trolley sites have "As seen on the BBC's Apprentice"

Aw Lyn, thanks for asking about pup. He's much better, got his spark back and his 'business' held form so that was a relief. He's had chicken and rice for breakfast and again at dinner time but with a bit cooked liver too. DH has brought in a small pack of James Wellbeloved to try him on in the morning (v. expensive but meant to be one of the best) and we were thinking of giving him that on a morning when I'm short of time and giving him meat offal some sort of bone/rice on an evening. It felt so good giving him food as opposed to the dry kibble stuff and I have to tell you all that I looked at the meat content of the well known brand and it was 4% meat in only one lot of chunks in the mix. Really bad dog food and Ifeel so ignorant for not looking into it more and trusting brands with the bigger advertisement budgets. Another lesson learned in life I can tell you.

Hi to all delurkers and newbies :hello: !

Well I don't know what is going on with the weather. We have had another lovely sunny day but the BBC website is talking about more heavy rain in west Wales causing flooding - ??? Hope everyone is ok and not been washed away. I know the SE has been grim as my DB told me it has rained for 24 hours straight.

I know exactly what the cba/brainfog thing is like - I thought I was the only one who suffered from it before reading here - there are some days when the easiest of tasks are beyond me, and I cannot motivate myself to do anything. I find OS lists help, as ticking off the completed tasks seems like something positive. No idea why it happens, I know I am naturally indolent but do try to do what is needed through the day to stop the place degenerating into a complete tip! I find better weather helps (although then I want to be out not indoors!) and winter months are def the worst.

So (((hugs))) to all cba'ers, and those feeling poorly and with poorly rellies and pets!

Oh sf, that is one human quality that follows us everywhere I'm afraid. Something as being women I think we have to contend with more for some reason. DH deals with mickey taking from his mates as part of the banter - it's funny. I, on the other hand, have to deal with snidy remarks many times a week from every available source. It does get you down sometimes.
