My henry is red and comes with loads of attachments and a little red henry bag to store them in.
It did a good job on the hall and kitchen floor and carpets - even better when upholstery tool was used on sofas it did a fantastic job and is easy to trundle happily behind me with a good long cord. One dd took such a fancy to the smily face she did the hall landing and stairs without being asked.
The reason I decided to use my points was that less than £15 to try a Henry is something even DH could not quibble about and also I was worried points might be recalculated at some stage so they were worth a lot less. It feels as if I got a present!:j
I'm especially pleased to have grabbed the only one out on display as they are out of stock online at the moment.

Imagine the waste of resources if you turned up and they couldn't do the operation because you'd eaten too recently or if you turned up late cos you didn't know which ward to go to. YOU ARE DOING JUST FINE:)
And marzipan - I used some a few weeks ago that I'd opened and resealed last Christmas and its use by date was Sept 2011. It was absolutely fine - I just cut the bit nearest the open end of the packet off as it had dried out a tiny bit.
Off to MrS soon for their value t-bags and also to see if they have any cheap flannels. Looking forward to my facial this evening:rotfl:
Have a good day all.
Thank youI do get really paranoid about stuff like this and need someone to tell me I'm not making a fuss about nothing. Thing is I've had to chase the admin up more than once since I've been ill. In fact if I hadn't chased the Hematologists secretary I would still be waiting in the wings for a 1st appointment to see the surgeon, let alone have an appointment for the operation. The surgeon is without a full time secretary at the moment so instead of my notes being passed from the hematologists secretary to the surgeons secretary they had been put back into the records office and the letter to the surgeon from my hematologist had been filed :eek::eek::eek::eek: so had it not been my tearful phonecall to ask why after being told I was an urgent case, I hadn't heard anything, I would be still sitting waiting, and actually might well find my life expectancy much reduced.
Thanks for all the advice ref marzipan....I'll use it and not waste it.People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

kids used to be fed a large spoonful every day to "keep them regular"
Also pregnant women used tobe given it to assist with labour....that that is no longer recommended as it can make Baby have diarrhoea and he may then inhale it during the birth, with disasterous results0 -
Could it just be OO? Or does the extra virgin involved make a difference?
My daughter is currently on her second round of Isotretinoin, which is Roaccutane by another name. THe first lot cleared it beautifully but it fought back with a vengeance. It is taking its time to clear and I don't think she can have any more when this course is finished. I'll have to see - can't believe putting oil onto already oily skin will help her - but i sometimes use a vitamin E oil on mine - OO would be cheaper!
Might watch that Robert Peston programme on i-player whilst i clear up the devastation known usually as the kitchen :rotfl:
My daughter has just started on this too, she's been having it a week and it is improving, I'm like a hawk though watching out for side effects!
I'm contemplating having a lazy day today as its my day off. I have walked the dog, made the bread and made a spag bog sauce which should last us 3 days (lasagne, chilli and spag bog) rubber chicken again tonight so a fairly cheap week.

Oh thank you SO much, I'll try and stop worrying then (about that particular aspect anyway
) I've only been in as a day case for operations in that past few years and everything was in the letter, so that's what I expected this time. Different and much bigger hospital this time though
Just make sure you are stocked up on trashy reading material and DVDs for afterwards. And hot water bottles. And make sure your bedding is changed before you go in, so you have a nice cosy bed to return to. And PJs. And if you can get someone over to help get the place clean and tidy too (your room at least) it will take some of the stress off. I've just had a cleaner in (she comes over when other clients cancel, so less than once a month) and in half a day she has got the place spotless and it feels so much nicer. Mind you, my GP just suggested signing me off for another week and I had to decline as I need to save up my sick leave, so I've got to work out how to get the work done without anyone noticing I'm doing the minimum!0 -
Hornetgirl - it's worth looking at stores you might think would be expensive as their offers are usually very good. My current washer came from John Lewis - it had lots of good reviews and at the time was about £90 cheaper from them than from anyone else."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0

i have just watched another programme called money and this week it was about couples. I had a burning desire to smash the screen!!! not least with the woman who said why should her husband, the main breadwinner, be allowed to enjoy his career (a scientist) and not retrain to a higher paid job!!! Selfish trout! The people on that programme were just on another planet...and breathe.0
