Shelley, nothing is worse than a baby that is in pain, your mind goes crazy trying to fix it, going over every possibility. I know cos I had it with DGS on Saturday night, then you feel wrung out all the next day, just try and sleep when he does, sod the pots. And when he is 15 and sleeps all day and night every weekend remember these days and go and wake him up
Suzid, losing a pet is just as bad as losing a person and you need time to get over it. No one here will judge you
OH not good, we have a new specialist at the hospital who is wonderful and totally understands what we are going through. We have never been treated with such respect and care so lets hope they can keep on sorting things out. We now have our own nurse, at the end of the phone whenever we need anything. Just getting our heads together now and being good to ourselves. Despite the governments best efforts some doctors will keep on putting patients first.Clearing the junk to travel light

SHELLY - when I left work to have my first baby an older and wiser colleague wrote a message in my card that has (allegedly) kept me sane through all the trials and tribulations of motherhood. She said'Just remember that all phases pass, they might be replaced by something equally annoying and trying but, all phases pass and what is driving you crazy today won't be around for long' - I found this had a certain element of truth to it so keep hanging in there and good luck!0

Hello all,
I hope you don't mind me popping my head in here, I do feel at home in the old style moneysaving part of the board.
I lost my job 2 weeks ago (it as my one main client, I am self employed) and although it only used to bring in £700 a month, that meant we could keep afloat, just.
Now that's gone and I don't think I am entitled to any benefits of any kind because my wife owns a fairly good salary- we're going to really struggle this month and I'm a bit panicked about it.
I'm menu planning for the month to see if we can save any money there and we're going to eat out of freezer as much as possible. I dont really know what else we can cut billwise though, we're already at bare minimum!
Other than looking at uping your income board and trying to find a job, it's going to be a LOOONNNGGG month I feel!!
(oh and I need to lose weight, along with spending less money!)Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

That is sooooooo true and I was once told this and passed it on. My other pieces of advice given to me that sum everything up are
You know if you are in the right relationship if you bought a winning lottery ticket and you still want to keep them around.:rotfl:
If your not living life on the edge you are taking up too much room.
Little pickers wear bigger knickers.:o
Behind every spotless house is a bored housewife.
Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
So many more I can't think of off the top of my head.0
