Wonder what everyone else is doing for easter. I usually buy my parents and my sister an easter egg and also my boyfriend and they buy me one too. However this year I'm on weight watchers so I told them not to bother. Am not sure whether they expect one from me still as none of them are doing WW.

Spent about £15 over the weekend which keeps me in budget. Am going to wait until the end of the month and maybe make another additional big payment towards my carloan.

Its very annoying as its getting to the point everyone is going abroad on holiday and I am itching to book something now too. I mustn't though cause I've got stuff for my flat to buy eg bed etc which is more of a priority than holidays :(

I know what you mean, everyones starting to ask if we are going away as well. When the weather is this good though it doesn't feel quite as bad.

Yes the weather is much better today although spent most of it inside making money for my boss :( Am looking fwd to a few nice walks at the weekend and also my sister is back so it'll be really nice to catch up with her :)

Recieved £40 interest in my ISA which I've put towards my car loan. Other than that am hoping to put a few things on ebay tomorrow night which'll be good.

My sister was home at the weekend and I have been really really bad with my spending.... like off the scale this time. My spending confession:

    Friday £25 foundation £23 perfume £2.50 lunch £14.00 dinner £1 parking
Sat £20 easter chocolates £4.99 easter present for my friend's son £20 night out

I feel really ashamed. I'm going to have to have a good few no spend days to get back on budget.

Had a NSD yesterday and have a budget for £6 today as have WW and then said I'd join my sister and her friend's in a pub quiz so will have to buy a drink. She is leaving tomorrow so am back at work so will have to get back on target. My boyfriend is joining WW with me this week. It'll be really good having him on board too as it'll make it easier.

Have spent a £1 since Sunday. Have got a night out with the girls coming up this Friday so will try to limit my spending until then. Have got my car tax to pay next week but have saved that.

My progress just seems to slow at the moment ;( ;(

Really depressing this weather. Have gone over budget on a few things this month.

Road tax went up by £15 so had to pay £115 instead of the £100 I had budgeted for
Had to pay a share of the cost to get new locks fitted on my back door of the flat :(
Friends have come home from abroad and have gone out to dinner with them so have gone over budget by £30 on that
Bought lunch out at £1 a pop last week so £5 wasted

I'm going to start afresh today. Just annoyed that all this has happened when was doing okay before. Most of its my fault tho :(

I've not posted for a while but have still tried to be good.

Still waiting for my money back from the council. Hopefully that should come next week for my council tax rebate.

Still looking for a new job although I have a job interview next week and have been making quite a few applications.

My mum has really kindly been buying me stuff for my flat. I feel bad but she says she wants to.

Nothing really else to report. When I get the money from the council I'm going to put it towards my car loan. Will update my debt figures again tonight.

Haven't been doing too well at WW :( Suppose it doesn't all come together at once.....

    Hi there,

I have only just read your thread. Don't feel too bad about falling off your budget, just get back to it and you'll start seeing the benefits again!

Have you got those updated figures yet?

Thanks SortingIt :) Thats my updated figures on my signiture. I have been back on budget recently. Its my b/friend's b/day this week so I have been squirlling away saving for his present. Also have a trip to see my sister this month too but won't spend a lot of money there as accomodation is free. Have to pay petrol tho :(

Just feels like everythings come at once sometimes but I guess everyone feels a bit like that. Have saved up £200 for my car insurance in July.
