Just to make sure that i had ordered the laptop and not the software i called them.
The lady i spoke to told me that it was a laptop but there had been a pricing error on the website and that they were currently updating it. She said that they would not be honouring the current web price. and that if any orders were made they will be charged full price.
She did say that the full price will be deducted from the credit/debit card..but surely they need to inform me first of the pricing error? well if they don't i'm sure as hell going to kick up a fuss if they take a chunk of money out of my account without prior authorisation!
Oh well looks like the gig is up..
They would not be allowed to charge your card for more than the agreed price, if they do you can take it up as a dispute with your card provider who'll freeze the transaction meaning no interest is added if your billing date happens to be just after the transaction is made, or it takes some time to sort it out with the merchant.0 -
Yep, go to your credit card provider if they overcharge you0

The wiping of hard drives is something best described on a case-by-case basis and not in sweeping statements. You could end up deleting the essential bits and have to send it back to the manufacturer for re-imaging.
Don't be so melodramatic. Even if you did wipe off essential drivers, you can easily download them off the internet and put them back on. I've never, in all my years of working with PCs and laptops, had to send a machine back to the manufacturer's for re-imaging.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

What does everyone's track order say?
Mine is now blank. It says the title of what I bought but instead of showing processing and a date which it did say, it now just shows the title?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
