THEY ARE CANCELING ALL ORDERS MADE FOR THE LAPTOP
I just rang up to confirm the laptop's price and they said all of the orders are being canceled
Sorry guys0 -
Why do people feel the need to ring up? What are they hoping to achieve? These things are best left to be handled by the automated systems.0

You wrote:The terms and conditions on Littlewoods say not a contract at email stage, only when dispatched. Probably standard for online retailers now, as the email confirmation is automatic.
Here is relevant bit:
2.2 When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a 'bounce back' confirmatory email of this order saying that we are processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us acknowledging your order and giving you estimated timescales for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.

That's the thing I'm waiting for. I am prepared to wait to see if Littlewoods just sends me software, as opposed to the laptop I ordered. If they do send me anything except a laptop, it would be possible to take them to court, as they will have taken the money and sent the goods. However, the goods they will have sent me are not the goods I ordered. I have order confirmation from them stating that I have ordered a laptop, along with a screen grab, etc, etc. So, it all comes down to whether or not Littlewoods cancels the order, or actually sends something out.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Are you going to keep quiet? Or phone up and question?
Just wondering the best way of going about this.

I was one of those that purchased the cuisinaire deluxe food processor for £45 when it sells for at least £250 from The Cooks Kitchen. After a very badly handled back peddle from the company, I decided to drop the issue and conceded that companies do make mistakes, I knew the 'risk' and so was happy with my refund.
It did though make me think, whilst it can be good fun bagging a bargain, to be honest I'd rather sit back and go for the genuine offers instead of having to sweat over whether I'm going to get the item or fight for a refund.
I do understand that this site is all about Money Saving but surely taking advantage of pricing errors isn't really good sport, is it? Any views? I'm not quite advocating that people should let the companies know as soon as a mis-price is spotted but surely we shouldn't all be like vultures. If it looks too good to be true, it most probably is!Consider anything only don't cry!0
