Tesco Recycling Machines?

The scouts I'm sure used to get a penny a can so 2 cans for a clubcard point sounds a raw deal. Not surprising with big machines though. Does anyone know if the scouts still collect them? Hopefully giving them to council collections should keep the Council Tax down - we live in hope i know.0

New automatic recycling at Tesco stores
Almost all of our larger stores have recycling facilities for you to use. To make things even easier, we’re introducing automatic recycling machines that do all the sorting for you. All you have to do is tip it in and it will sort through plastic, glass and metal at an incredible rate of around 80 products a minute. There are 27 at stores across the country, with more to comeTesco recycling centres
List of stores with Tesco recycling centres:
Amersham
Andover
Baldock
Borehamwood

These are all out of London town stores, I live in Bethnal Green where the Hackney and Bow large Tesco stores are nearby - any chance they're planning on getting the recycling bins there? Also can you clarify what Brednall said about the points aspect being removed from the recycling?
Would be good to know as am trying to save up for a trip around the world using Airmiles too!0 -
