Dodged that Windows Phone bullet...
(could have always tossed it in the bin I suppose).
Anyone know how many they have given away and if they are counting them as real sales to real users? As Windows Phone sales are dire, and this makes it sound like they are plumping up the numbers...
This type of stuff does not get included in sales channel numbers so it would be pointless.
As for dodging a bullet, after having the lumia for a bit I wouldn't want to go back to android.0 -
Got my phone back on Monday, well I say 'my' phone, it was a replacement.
Turns out that the Panel guys decided it was OK for me to deal with the service centre than sending it back to them after all, so we know for sure that these phones have a proper warranty now (although the checker showed that anyway).
Keep an eye out for another update, it's out in a few countries and will further improve batterly life among other things. I am an impatient git, so have installed it manually using CAB Sender via XDA Developers, so hopefully will get an idea of the improvements over the next few days.0 -
got the software update last week- not sure if battery life has improved - i'm not really a heavy user0

We'll be down to the last month of the 'test' soon, time flies.
They really can't have learned much, since they never bothered to get a compatible 360 metre, and 2 questionnaires isn't a lot.
Still, thanks for the free £400 phone :rotfl:0 -

Couldn't agree with you more. Has it really been that long?!
I'm enjoying the phone, yes I have to charge it everynight, but it does well and impressed that the time changed when it should've at the weekend - simple things, but it did mean that I was on time for my activities!0 -

It's amazing - £400 phone and we've done 2 5 minute questionnaires!0 -
Well a third (and probably the last) has finally turned up. Probably in relation to the battery improving update that came out recently.0
