Now i will say the Nokia Lumia is a fantastic phone, so smooth and quick I got mine through the Nokia Amazing collective...So hope you all have fun with yours
..However exactly 2 weeks in and mine has died, I'm not sure if there is a fault with these as I know another mse'r who is now on his third one:eek:. Hoping mine gets replaced by Nokia as honestly it's the best phone I have used.
Thank you to all the posters and the forum guides for all your hard work it is appreciated ...

Jan starting off as the year will pan out ...nothing lol

I figured that since we'd been given these, I should do something to justify it... knocked up a blog site and attempted some sort of review: http://blog.rustyweb.co.uk/?p=18

It's more of a Lumia 800 related brain-fart I guess, but I felt I should do something for Nokia/WP :rotfl:

nice write up - gotta agree with most of your observations. whats your view on range / quality of apps?

Range isn't bad, but the free ones are not as plentiful as Andriod, which is a shame, but these things take time.

As for quailty, seems to be good, the IMDB app for instance is well polished and really fits in with the phone.
  • the app i would like is Skygo.

I'd be happy enough with a Sky+ remote record app, but doesn't seem like they're interested in it yet.

Ps. Anyone get a survey yesterday?

Theres already a Sky+ remote app. I've been using it for the past year.
It's not officially from Sky, but it works a treat.

Yeah, I found it when I got the phone. I take issue with paying for something Sky offers for free on other platforms (this is MSE after all ;))

Edit: It appears to have vanished from Marketplace anyway.
