Yep still liking it, still miss some Android bits, but it's not spoiling my experience.

Cracking bit of kit really, good design job by Nokia.

I have just got an upgrade from Orange and they are sending me a lumia so can anyone help me with the problem that I have?

If I use the new lumia that Orange are sending me and sell the one that the the panel sent me will they know? Have they got our imei numbers so will they know that I am using a different lumia or do they just go by our telephone numbers?

I am assuming that because the 360 software hasnt been released for our Lumias yet that I will be ok?

Thanks to anyone that can help me

You own outright the Lumia that orange are sending you, you can sell that at any time. As far as I am aware, the Lumia's we have been sent are not actually ours for six months and if we carry out all the surveys we are requested to do.

How do you explain it away if in month 3, we get sent an app and that app records the IMEI of the phone? The other problem is even if the app does not pick up the IMEI, it might pick up the fact that your phone is using a carrier firmware rather than the generic nokia firmware and that might raise some eyebrows.

You could chance it and nothing might happen but while you might get a little less for a locked orange lumia at least there is no possible come-back...

The odds are is that absolutely nothing would happen but it would be a hassle to explain - also you can sell the orange Lumia boxed and unopened.

I see there is a lumia 900 coming out sooner with a bigger screen and a front-facing camera, I think (if it's out) my plan is to sell this phone as soon as the six months are up and get the one with the bigger screen. ;-)

trouble is the panel one has no warranty and my new one will have 12 months so really wanted to get rid of the panel one but I am not going to be greedy :o

Actually the new one would have 24 months ;)

Edit: For !!!!!! and giggles I ran my panel Lumia's IMEI through the Nokia warranty checker. Lo and behold, it is actually under warranty.
