all i am saying is that i have (UK Panel) received a text message with a link to fill in a survey for them.
i don't understand your logic of not installing 360 meter in the phone......why do you think Nokia is throwing away the mobile phones for free of charge? I am pretty sure they have embedded reqd software elements in it to track the data and upload it to NOKIA automatically.
if you read your terms and conditions it clearly states that the mobile will be the property of Nokia for the first six months....only when you conform to their terms and conditions for six months that you can lay a claim of ownership.
anyways would not it be better outside UK'ers create their own thread to update themselves. I think i already have mentioned it in this thread.:p

Just signed up today.

Installed software on my HTC Desire and recieved email confirming I am on the panel !

Finger's crossed I'll be selected to test an Android phone soon.


When is the next test ? What phone will it be ?

Is it right that I can keep the phone after a year?

I doubt you'll get to test anything other than a Nokia to be honest, and yes you can keep the phone.

I also got the text for the survey, it was about the recent update.

I've installed it on my android phone, but i just wanted to know do you have to have mobile data enabled all the time? As usually i disable data to save battery?

They expect a feed from your phone every day I believe, and if they don't get it, you can be disqualified from the panel

I want to say thanks for all the information you and other pepole shared about Nokia study. I am unable to understand why you want we create other thread. Any way Nokia lumia 800 mobile is not going to change country by country. Whatever you people are facing problem will be helpful for us. Might be it will be voice versa. Just for this reason I wanted to continue with this thread.

The motivation of this thread is about all uk panellists coming together and share their status and keep updating each other about surveys rewards etc...
Where from your comment above you non uk panellists are looking here to find information....obviously the countries are different and programmes maturity dates are different....i would definitely think posting your messages just confuses other UK visitors to this thread, as is already evident from other UK member comments on this page.
We both are on different time lines.i mean, uk panellists are already having the mobile for a month.you guys are still waiting for mobiles.from comments from other uk members, they are thinking this panel for uk is still open, they do so by judging from discussions from non uk panellists.
Can you now justify to continue posting on this thread.both are nokia makes and model does not necessarily mean that motivation of uk users are same as you.i have no problem you guys asking questions but not comfortable to see your discussions here as it clearly is confusing uk members.
My rationale for asking you guys to create a new thread is i do not want to confuse UK members visiting this thread to get confused by your discussions here.

could not understand your question completely.
But this panel for UK is now closed. Do continue with nielsen with your nokia/android mobile....if nokia is doing another study you might get an invite.HTH
