Well mine has had to go back because there was a blemish on the screen that started small but then grew and grew over the weekend until today when 2/3 of the screen can't be seen.

Emailed the same address as used for confirming receipt and they provided me with all the details to send back - DHL coming today, replacement will be sent when they receive the original in Helsinki.

Wow that a pain, but pretty good service, should probably have the replacement on Thurs going on the original delivery times.

Just a note - the first of two promised updates to fix charging times and battery life is starting to become available, they are rolling it out slowly but should become available in the next two weeks. This update (so I'm told) also tweaks the audio on the unit and a few other things.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on Zune since last night for it.

I bought a case and some screen protectors off eBay which turned up yesterday. The screen protectors were an utter waste of money, but the case is not so bad.

after returning from work this evening my mobile gave me a blank look. I tried to ring using my other mobile, yet the mobile is still blank screen....although after a few rings it went to my mailbox.
ummm....
then downloaded the zune and connected my mobile....
surprise it then said there is a software update....
went ahead with it.....took nearly 25 mins and then mobile is working as normal now....

but really worried with this blank screen......if this happens again this will be straight going back for a replacement.

I fixed my Google calendar 'issue'

I used the Windows Live Calendar website to subscribe to my missing Google calendars, so as far as the phone is concerned, they're now Live calendars and are syncing :cool:

I have a query for the reams of Lumia users in this thread, how much internet do you find your phone is using in the background with it's heavy social networking integration?

I rarely use my phone to browse the internet (my old iphone 3g internet usage was 72mb last month) but I'm concerned that all of this automatic monitoring will take me over my 500mb monthly limit.

Any advice?

I must admit I'm not bothering to monitor it as I am on Giffgaff, but I wouldn't have thought that the updates for the social stuff would be high, it's not really much different to emails really.

That said, it would take a monumental Facebook addiction to break 500MB :rotfl:

I haven't monitored it either - I did some streaming music which bumped it up - but actual facebook updates and the like are tiny so I wouldn't worry about it.
