DWP DLA christmas bonus

hi all..

just wondering if anyone knows or has had a letter etc about the £10 bonus this year,i am on DLA and know certain benefits including DLA qualify for this..

anyone had there payment yet?

    don't think any letters go out, but they are due 5th December

    I've had a letter each year I've been in receipt of my sons DLA.

    I got the letter about his £10 Christmas payment on Monday, and it was paid the next day along with his usual DLA payment.

    My daughter had 2 payments last year, one in her incapacity benefit and one in her dla. I phoned jobcentre plus and took one of the payments back because your only allowed one payment. i think they send out letters beforehand and it is usually at the start of december.

    I received a letter on Monday about my son's DLA Christmas bonus - it goes in at the end of the week, with his usual DLA payment.

    Christmas Bonus is to be scrap next year say ministers of government in next week autumn budget to save the government money & taxpayers.

    quite a good idea even though i recieve it and it is handy i feel the money could be saved and better spent elsewere.

    No wonder the country is in the state that it is.

    DLA pays alot as it is. But everyone getting £10 bonus payments is a joke. That fund for bonus payments should go to helping people who have nothing.
