Slowly getting my head sorted ready for a new onslaught on my life!

No, your good twin... :AApart from that...
After serious consideration, the answer for that point of a Sunday evening appears to be... snuggled up on the sofa and dozing on somebody's shoulder while not really listening to whatever he's got on the TV.

Right, update...
Am cream-crackered after city trip and So Very Glad I don't have to do that any more. No idea how I managed it for half the week for so long. Though it does explain the state of my social life as it reminded me that I really did end up needing to sleep for most of Saturdays.
Will sort out expenses receipts tonight, but think am too tired to do the jobs site properly so will leave it til tomorrow.
Also have to hop over to the Clothes Challenge and confess to a pair of pj's that escaped the Debenhams 30% sale today - but that was only actual spend as the rest was all on work. So two free meals and saved £10 would have spent on Pilates if was home in time.
Have soup to take for lunch tomorrow, must check if the bread is still toastable. Though have stressful meeting tomorrow morning so a walk out to the shop for bread wouldn't be a bad idea just as an escape. Must remember to get myself out of there on time. One of the problems of living on my own is not having any excuse to leave and on the days I feel I haven't achieved enough I end up staying late even when I shouldn't. Might use Kerri's mini-challenge for this week to motivate me to exit on time!

No, no - what would you *like* to be doing (apart from...)RosaBernicia wrote: »yes, reality needs work.
Free your imagination - it can't be like that every night of course, but without imagining it, it can't be like that *any* night.RosaBernicia wrote: »Am cream-crackered after city trip and So Very Glad I don't have to do that any more. You can do that even if you don't need bread.RosaBernicia wrote: »Must remember to get myself out of there on time. I'm doing OK, probably less tired than you considering I had a sleep over lunchtime. How are you doing? Early night?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

1. I declined to take out a storecard - the £2.50 discount just wasn't worth the time, hassle and risk of temptation
2. I was amazed how much healthier and happier I looked than last winter :rotfl:. I used to go in the same store on the way back from college, wearing the same clothes, but feeling completely wiped out and hassled - usually just shopping for something to make me feel better, because I thought I didn't have time to do anything more interesting. Yesterday I didn't get round to putting concealer on but my skin still looked good, I didn't have dark circles, I didn't have the spots and dry skin I was getting last year (probably from being stressed and eating carp) and I didn't have last winter's muffin top either (well not so much of one... there might be a slight inclination, but then it's always a balance between slightly smaller waist or maximum cleavage :rotfl:)
So I guess sleep and sanity are good for meDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

- Horrible meeting was much better than it could have been
- Went to Homebase looking for a plant for my desk (the wild strawberries have died back for the winter) and didn't buy a thing. Partly because I'd forgotten how traumatised and neglected all their poor plants are - but I did also put back some spice scented candles 'cause I don't need them til the current ones are completely used up.
- Exited work at 1802... when I would otherwise have stayed for a further hour - so thank you Kerri :A
- Went in late as they owe me so much time from yesterday, but should really have been in on time as then had to spend time catching up on other people. And I can make better use of TOIL for something I want to do.
- Horrible meeting has resulted in a further awkward one later this week.
- It upset me going round Homebase and realising that I can't plan anything for the garden as I don't know when I'm moving. Yes, I am strange.
- Didn't have breakfast as I was in a hurry leaving, and didn't have time to sort soup and toast at work - so got in tonight and realised that my food intake for the day amounted to 1 sandwich, 1/2 bar nut chocolate and 5 caramels. This has got to stop. (At least I had plenty of water.) Do have food for rest of week and will be going to Sainsbugs to pick up muffin tin and ingredients for emergency breakfast muffins.
Right, now I am going to put Peggy Lee on and cook something
Probably back later
